Poor quality and high price Red flags are waving at me, none of those pups look good. They look scared, not of good quality and ill kept. I would not deal with these folks, too many breeds, and IMHO extremely poor quality, especially at that price. |
pups Truthfully, how many ugly puppies do you see? Even a very mixed Heinz 57 variety pup is adorable..what went wrong with these Yorkies??? |
What do you think? It is sad to look at those babies. They look unhappy and unhealthy. You have not been quoted a fair price for what appears to be a accident waiting to happen. I doubt if those babies have any type of a health warranty. You have been given a lot of good advice today from fellow members. You might check and see if any members have a puppy that might suit your needs and wants. Wnalegria |
I wouldn't spend that kind of money on those puppies. It's sad because it isn't their fault but Pat is right. They are ugly with the exception of MAYBE #7. Save your money and buy elsewhere. The ears were TOO big, muzzles TOO long. Looked more like schnauzers in yorkie colors! :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown |

i believe there are no ugly puppies however these come about as close as i have ever seen #11 & 12 especially....#13 looks like he gets beat on a daily basis...look at that poor babys face doesnt he just look so pitiful. |
Pat's first post took the words right out of my mouth. Sometimes puppies start out so cute and turn ugly FAST! And, at least you saw it in its cute stage. When they start out looking poor quality, they ain't agonna get any cuter..Seriously, those are not $1300.00 quality. Not even half that. What qualities are you looking for in a puppy?? |
I feel so bad for those babies but I too would run not walk away from that breeder. I was not even sure of the breed of some of those pups. |
Anyone who puts them down by number and not by name is bad in my book. My goodness at least make an attempt to treat them like babies. And I think #13 is cute (but scared out of its freaking mind!) |
I don't trust it either. Most of those dogs look un-kept and none of them are marked as to what they are. There are a couple of them on there that look like full-blooded yorkies...but some others that look mixed with something. I think that you could get a better puppy for less. Maybe someone could check it out for you who lives close to this "breeder". |
I agree with all of the above. I mean, Bo is far from the breed standard but at least he's CUTE, lol, IMO!! I know we've gotten in trouble before for critiquing a website but sometimes the truth should be told. I am sooooo thankful we have had several breeders on this forum who hold to very high standards. And they're always honest. There's gotta be something wrong about a place that doesn't even have the self-respect to at least groom the pups and try to show them in their best light. I too would have said I've never seen an ugly puppy but now I'll have to retract that stmt, lol. |
Bo Bo is adorable..even a Yorkie who is going to be a bit big or flop earred, non-standard color etc is cute, cute, cute at 8 weeks. The grooming is a problem and that bothers me alot..it tells the buyer how the breeder cares for the pups...perhaps this breeder is overwhelmed in volume. I would like to see the parents..good luck |
I am not sure what these people were striving for in their breeding program with these puppies, but whatever it was, it did not work! Sad, sad, sad. Since that is the nicest thing I can say, I’ll stop before I get into trouble. |
Oh thank you Pat! Wow, a compliment from you is a big deal to me. Cause you are the Yorkie Queen, lol!! That was very sweet! |
Sad sad faces... red flag!! :thumbdown |
