I am thinking about the same two instead of one because now I want a yorkie and a maltese. It is really hard lol. I say go for it, I am ebaying too,lol.

Thanks so much for all the stories and advice :) I'm really going to search my heart for the answer.

I do want Abby to bond to me and I did think of that....If I got the two together, that they would bond with each other more than us. Originally, my plan was to adopt a rescue for the second fur baby, as that's what we've always done in the past. My little Peanut was a rescue and he was absolutely a dream! I still miss him so much :( Anyway, I'm going to leave it in God's hands. I'll pray about it and if it's meant to be, it will happen.

Once again, I do so appreciate all the kindness and what you've shared with me. I will keep you posted on what I/We decide.

About the pictures. We've actually seen the puppies. We went to the breeders house last weekend. I held this other little girl. So I'm pretty sure that she's the real deal. Of course I couldn't be 100% for sure.

It is something to consider though.

I bought two puppies at the same time 4 yrs. ago. They are not related as I bought them with the intention of breeding them. It worked out great though, they are very close to each other and still curl up together to sleep. I did bond more with the male, he still is my baby. She is just more independent and is not snuggly like he is.
If you think you can come up with the money part, than I say go for it:) Watching them play together can be more entertaining than any tv show, more fun for them:D

If you can afford it I would do it. Then they have each other to play with.

It is a lot of work in the beginning but so much fun once they have learned the rules. If you get siblings they will be more bonded to each other, so the suggestion to get from different litters is one I would recommend.

This post is so ironic, since I have been thinking the same thing. We are enjoying our puppy so much that it crosses my mind that I would love another one! I will wait, but would really love to do what you're doing. They are fabulous dogs.

She is isn't she? I just heard back from her though that someone who put a deposit down on another one, switched to little Ruby Red Bow :(

I say if you can afford it go for it!! I have 4 dogs...two yorkies, a shorkie and a boykin spaniel..Im terrible..the more I look the more I want lol...
