It is amazing what these little guys can get into. Tootsie chewed a big hole in my husband's brand new leather recliner, has destroyed I don't know how many rolls of toilet paper (she jumps up, grabs the end and runs like crazy), she's destroyed the straps on a very expensive purse, ruined my slippers, and between her and Teddy they have also chewed the woodwork here and there. We still contiue to love them to pieces, though. Things seem to be slowing down now, thank goodness. Janice |
Thanks everyone for the advice! I appreciate all the tips and will try some out! I actually have my place as puppy-proofed as possible...so hopefully she'll grow out of this phase soon! |
Good Luck, the bitter orange sounds like a good idea.. No matter how hard I try Gizzie always finds a way to get into something its not your fault they are just so sneaky ;) My suggestion would be use the bitter orange and provide things she would love to chew on instead like the bully sticks or pig ears and eventually she will learn, Yummy treat or yucky cord, she'll get the hang of it:) |

I think you are loosing it. My sweet friend Matty Lu would NEVER do these things. I think its your daughter and shes just blaming her. |
