| Penny is getting her shots today... I hope all goes well. I am going to ask about the Lepto shot. I hope he doesn't want her to have it. I have read some bad posts about that. Not really sure how important it is in our area. Wish us luck!!

| I bet Penny will do just fine! Lepto is only needed in certain high risk areas. I don't give mine Lepto anymore, Scout had a bad reaction to it and he's the bigger of my two. My little tiny Pippa(3.5 lbs) has never had any reactions to shots and I believe she had Lepto at my former vets before we switched. Also ask your vet about giving baby aspirin if she does feel bad. When Scout ran fever and was miserable we gave him 1/2 baby aspirin and that seemed to help.
