![]() it is probably different with smalller dogs too.... it is probably not necessay for big breeds to stay, but smaller breeds are a different story...... i asked my vet and he says it is only 30 for a male to be nuetered and 50 for females and they dont have to stay overnight

![]() orinskye - when you say "30" are you talking $30 for a neuter? It costs $250 here and since I had to get 8 baby teeth pulled it ended up being over $400!

![]() Hello, my wife and I are new to the forum. We have a 3 month old yorkie that we named Corky. The funny thing is that we named him before we realized it rhymed. ![]() ![]()

![]() yup...... i do mean 30 dollars to neuter ......... it is a low cost clinic, run by care or something like that......... (vets work here for free, so all you have to pay for is the cost of gas......ect,,,,) i asked about their policies on gas and they use the right kind, i can take him home same day, they are very thorough and i dont think im going to get any of his teeth pulled, hes still a little too young isnt he? he was born on sept 14th so that makes him what... 4 and a half months old.......... i know people say six months, but the vet said we could do it at four months (i want to get him in as early as possible because i dont want him to start marking around the apartment,,,,, that would be very very bad........)...... and my fiance is on his vacation from work until the thirty first....... SO, i didnt want him to just be in on a friday and only have teh weekend of full time 24 7 attention and then back to work on monday........ so since my fiance is on vacation he will get company 24-7 untill he is FULLY recouperated........ (i feel a little bad because i accepted a second job, ....... so now i have two jobs, AND i go to college with full time units........) .... its not like no ones with him because my fiance will be with him during the day, and i will be with him during the night......... BUT, back to main topic....... you have a vet you trust and that is great betley's mom...... but people forget that when i was looking for a yorkie i did my research THOROUGHLY.....lol..... right down to finding the best low cost clinic i could find and trust (i have to drive an hour to get there, but at least the bill comes to $30 instead of $400...... i think $400 is outrageous....)
