My Tobie sleeps on my head...HELP!!! So I got these new Tempur Pedic pillows, and now, Tobie loves them...he literally sleeps on my head every night. Is anyone else having these types of problems? I must admit, it is absolutely adorable and so comfy, but I want my pillow back...no more sharing! |
Tobie is so smart! He probably want one of his own because it is too comfortable :D |
YOu too? Now I don't have a new pillow but there's always 1 on my head..I always lay down with a little room on top of the pillow cuz I know that's someone's spot. I have 3 and they take turns..they kind of go across the headboard atop all the pillows....it is a comfy, loving feeling though..:p except for when I wake up to a paw on my nose..:eek: |
I had this problem so I bought extra pillows and put them in their crates. They fit perfectly. Now they spend most of the day sleeping in their crates, but they still try to sleep on my pillow at night. Sam fits (6lbs) Loki doesn't (12lbs) so usually I throw an extra pillow aside for Loki and Sam shares with me. |
Yeah, it's adorable allright, but my boyfriend and I want to eventually get a giant schauzer and that'll be hard to fit on my head. ;) He has so much in his crate, he still spends time on my head at night. Oh well, I guess I'm trained! |
Awww....:D Daisy does that too sometimes. Subconsciously, I leave space for her when I lay my head down on the pillow. I know shes there so dont end up sqoshing her. :eek: She likes all pillows. esp the "NAP" pillows from Brookstone. We have a couple on the couches and she pretty much taken those over. :rolleyes: :p |
they all love pillows and their own space (which is really our space to begin with) But they are so cute, they can have whatever they want. My hubby and I have been "trained" also. |
My poor hubby has Luna on his neck every night:laugh: I take her and snuggle her by my tummy to give him a break sometimes:D |
My little girl definitely does this. She moves during the nite from my pillow to my husbands, whichever she wants, of course. I will sometimes turn my back to her....well, she comes around my head and gets my attention to move in very close until I put my arm around her and she snuggles down. Awwwww. how can I complain?:2hearts2: I have to share....my husband wanted to use the computer earlier......he said, "You're obsessed. Always looking up "Yorkie stuff". " haha:aimeeyork bfn |
martini loves sleeping on my pillows so now she has one for herself for when she naps on my bed with me...she has done the let me sleep on mommys head cause i love her pillow lol lol...these dogs are sooo smart its scary |

Brewser used to do the same thing, so I bought some of those really soft newborn baby blankets and put it over the pillow and then disguise my pillow lower down so she thinks she has the whole thing to herself:D at least I get a little more room!! |
LOL - our house too! Reggie owns the foot of the bed and Coby owns the head of the bed. My hubby and I sleep somewhere in between! ;) The most soothing way to fall asleep is when Coby is curled around my head on my pillow with his head resting on my forehead. The most annoying way to awaken in the morning is when Coby is sleeping on my pillow and I'm not! :asleep: |

Well....i dont have the problem with my furbaby sleeping on my head but I do have one of those awesome tempur pedic pillows and he takes it over! He doesnt sleep on my head...just steals my pillow! Lol. |
winston our yorkie sleeps as my scarf wrapped around my neck. there is something about these little guys--the closer the better. I have two ShihTzus also, and although they like to sleep somewhere on the bed, they are not nearly as cuddly or close. I have only had Winston for two months, and this has been my first time around the yorkie breed. I have gotten closer to this little guy in two months than any other dog. He is absolutely wonderful!! :love: |
Welcome to YT :wavey: I also have the best two breeds. ;) I have Coby, the Yorkie, and Reggie, the Shih Tzu. Coby turned 1 this Monday and Reggie turned 11 on Tuesday. Looking forward to getting to know you and your furbabies |
My yorkie boy when he was a baby, he used to sleep on my head, too. It was like wearing a fur hat for me when sleeping. My yorkie girl, she is now 6 months, she likes to sleep with her chin on my eyes, so now I have an eye mask when sleeping. ;) |

hahahaha well one of my boys would LOVE to sleep on my pillow with me, but you know what I do is take a pillow and shove it b/t the headboard and the mattress, then I move my pillow down about 6 inches so there is room for my fletch to lay b/t the 2 pillows. Hes happy to do that, he rests his head on MY pillow but not his whole body! It works for us! :) |
