Please help, my Yorkie is lost
 
Hi, I am a new member, I am in Fairfield Ohio. My Yorkie - Tater got out on Saturday somehow. I have posted flyers went to shelters and posted online. I dont know what else to do. I am putting an add in the paper tomorrow. Please help.

Contact the vet's in your area also. Literally go door to door in the neighborhood. Keep flyers with you to hand out....ask or tell every child you see....they are a great wealth of information. Tell your mailman...who sees and is in your neighborhood every day.

We wish you luck... we have brought home many of our babies with posotive thougths & prayers (even if it is months later ie. Miracle Maddie). We are all yorkie angels

I wish you all the luck in finding your Yorkie! I would be going door to door and local vet offices and shelters. How old is your dog? Was it micro chipped?

he is not micro chipped :( I wish I had now. He is a little over a year old. The hardest part is that we have been having snow storms roll through since he has been gone, I hope someone has taken him in and just not seen the posters yet. I have been trying to upload a picture of him but it keeps failing. I dont know how to get it to work.

Hi Im from OHIO. Welcome to YT. do you have your baby posted on criagslist? I saw that there have been a few Yories posted as found on there.
I pray you get your baby back.

Go here and look in their lost and found.
look under each part of OHIO.

If you go to www.fidofinder.com and search found pets, there is a found Yorkie listed. You can also enter the ID# 111082 in the "Go To Dog ID #:" field in the top right of the site.

The lister did not indicate the dog's gender but if you're missing a Yorkie it's worth checking out.

Tater is posted on Craigslist 3 times. I havent had any luck yet. I am going to post more flyers up tomorrow. My mom is going to go around to the vets and my husband is going to a couple shelters to check again.

I hurt for you!!!! Also check Humane Society, ASPCA, animal control. I hesitate to ask if Your baby had tags on? Do not want to add to your scary situation, however be mindful of people calling claiming to have your Dog, ask lots of questions, no reward until you see your baby! Most honest dog lovers will not take or want reward. Please keep YT posted, we all care!!!!

Don't forget to put a reward on the poster and say that he needs medication.
This might encourage whoever has him to bring him back.

I am so sorry. Contact your local media and ask if they would do a story - appeal to them on how cold it is.

I'm in Iowa, we're having below zero temps, snow, etc & I'm also trying to help someone here locate their lost yorkie.

Besides that list someone else posted the link to.

I would contact all the pizza, chinese, etc. delivery places and get fliers in the hands of all the drivers. They see a lot.

Tater's hair is a little bit longer now. These pictures were from August. He had just gotten a hair cut before this picture.

Thank you!! Everyone on here is so great. I am so glad I joined. you all are giving me faith that I may see my baby boy again someday. Thank you to everyone reading, helping, giving prayers ect. I appreciate it all greatly.
