Update: He has still not been found. The neighbor says she hasnt seen him. I just dont know what to do anymore. I feel like I have done everything but yet I havent done enough becuase he is not safe at home yet. I'm losing hope. My husband is going to the shelters again today to check again. they all have the flyers but just in case they forgot about me we are checking every couple days.

Awww honey I'm sorry to see your boy has not come home yet.
Please, don't give up hope. Someone has him I'm sure. These little
ones are usually picked up by someone knowing they must be lost.
What about posting your poster's in the food chains around the area.
Have you done that? Just incase he's out of your local neighborhood.
Prayers coming for his safe return. Hang in there and think positive
thoughts.

I just found this thread. I am so sorry to hear about your missing baby. I will pray that he remains safe and warm until you are reunited.

Please praying you find him soon. It's going to get above freezing this weekend where I live & hoping this will be the weekend we find lost Lexy in Iowa. Hoping you have warm weather too to drive people outside.

Are you offering a reward? Can't remember - You could put that on the posters - don't need a dollar amt.

Also, go to all the area schools and hand out fliers. See if the schools will announce it. So many kids are animal lovers and they are so observant!! They see & remember things adults often don't. Plus if you are offering a reward some will be motivated to help knock on doors, etc.

Any luck getting the media to do a story?

I wrote an e-mail to the news station and I am waiting to hear back from them. hopefully they will help. I have put up flyers at the food chains that would allow it. which wasnt many.

Someone once on YT lost a Yorkie and posted it needed medication.
Knowing that someone might think twice about keeping it, if that is the
case.

Before Tater went missing, I was looking into adopting another yorkie from a local breeder. but now I just feel guitly for even thinking about another dog. I wanted a play mate for him when mommy was too tired to keep up with him. what should I do. Should I hold off on getting another one?

Well, how soon would you get one?? Would this take time and energy away from searching for Tater? Do you feel emotionally ready? You can ask Vicki aka Blue Boy Barber or Denise aka Denise517 what it was like to bring another one home when they were dealing with a missing or recovering yorkie.

For some people it would bring peace. Another member - whose name is escaping me right now - help me someone - had their yorkie disappear out in the country where they live on New Year's Eve - she has gotten another one, and I think it's been a blessing
