After contacting countless breeders this past week, I found the little guy I am in love with. Theres just been red flags with everyone I have been in contact with until now. Some of the people I spoke with made me mad just talking to them because you could totally tell that they were either puppy mill people or just in it for the money. This lady that I eventually ended up speaking with, lives right down the road from where I grew up, her son was in the same grade as me in school, and she has been a reputable local breeder for over 14 years. :) I am going down there tomorrow, its about an hour from here. Here he is at 8 weeks. His mom is 5 lb and his dad is 4 lb.

I should add that, I just KNEW when I seen him. KWIM? I had a ton of pictures emailed to me this week, and none of them were MY dog. :luvu:

congrats!hopefully i'll be getting my baby next friday too!!!maybe he'll put a smile on my face after everything thats happened over this weekend. but he is totally beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Where do you usually meet at? I am in western MI.

I am so happy that you were able to find your little guy, I remember reading a post or two about the trouble that you were having finding a good breeder. Congratulations!! What names have you in mind for the little cutie?

There were a couple more I thought of last night that I forget now...


I called back to talk to the breeder again last night. I forgot to ask who her vet was, because I grew up there, so I know all the local vets. Well it turns out she uses our vet that we always used, and the vets right hand "man" (woman, lol) is my moms best friend, so I feel even more peace about this. This vet has been a friend of my family since I was little. Yes, hes really old too, lol. He is so sweet though and old school. He has even come to her house to deliver pups with her several times. :)
So I feel so special now. I was praying last week (yes I pray about it everytime we are going to get a dog, lol) that God would present me with a great deal on a dog that is perfect for us, and I am getting this little boy for only $500! With health guarentee, everything done that needs to be done by this time vet wise, and, not that they can guarentee size, but smaller parents. I feel really blessed and excited. :D

Congrats! He is such a cutie!!!! :D I like the name Diesel...and what a huge relief for you that you have such a good feeling about the breeder and this special little guy. The price is great too!!! :) He is really special, can't wait to see all of the pictures I am sure you will be taking of him! Cute little Angel! (oh you could name him angelo?)

Sounds like you are getting a great puppy from a wonderful breeder. :) I like the names that you have picked out. We have a Harley so of course I think that's cute, but I also think Oswald is fun.

I am so happy for you. Its such a great feeling when you know you bond with that special little one. Its funny how we really know when we see the right one and God does link you with all the right people when it comes togeather. And to think it was just in your home town and you know all the people around that little furball has to make you feel better. Good luck with the name but Diesel is a big name for a small dog.......I like it.! Give us more pics

Thanks everyone! We are so in love! Still no name. I like Diesel a lot. His dads name is Linda's Litto Peanut, and his Moms name is Daddy's Little Feng Bao which means Storm. I fell in love with his mommy, I couldve taken her home. She was BEAUTIFUL and so affectionate. She jumped right up on my lap and kissed me right in the face. The owner apologized, but she didnt need to, thats what I am greated with daily :D
Here he is at 9 weeks 1 day....

You just wait a while and believe me the name will come to you. He sure is a cutie and it looks like his ears are already up. I had a time getting Gleason's ears to stand up.

I know that feeling! We have come to terms with the fact that Izzys just arent going to stand. I think if her owners would have worked with them, they would stand because one will stand up here and there, but almost all of the time they flop. She is 19 weeks now, so I dont see them standing. We got her when she was 16 weeks, so it was kind of late I think to work with them.

awwwwww! :p He is a cute little Booger! I love his face! Congratulations! I know what your going thru.. I couldn't sleep or anything when I was getting my Max. He is the most sweetest thing there is. Be sure to keep us updated pics. I live near Lansing.. where do you live?
