We have a really high bed and Jimmie made Gypsy a ramp. We used carpet remnants for the traction on top glued to it. That seems to help. Gypsy caught on real quick. |
what a great daddy! |
My hubby loves these babies... (he would never admit it to the outside world! ) I'm excited because we had a board sticking out of the bed for a long time and I would trip, stub my toe, and hit my shin on the dumb thing all the time.:( |
He did a good job! so nice to have a greathubby! |
  Awesome! So much better than the furbutts thinking they can jump off the bed and hurting themselves! |
Very nice! We have some that use stairs but the ramp is a good idea too! |
I bought a ramp but it doesn't have the nice side-rails yours has. Originally I was looking for something like what you have. Couldn't find it. Dh said he would make one for me but I knew that would most likely not happen since he is so busy. I trained my furbabies to use it by putting tiny treats on the ramp. Caught on fast!:D Your dh did a terrific job. Joanne :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :dog: |
That is awesome he did that for you. I just asked my husband last night about building something for Gracie and he told me because it was me it would be $100. |
What a good daddy!!! :D |
Nice! Very clever! I like how it takes up a lot less space. Sure beats spending the $$ for one from the store. Retail ones seem a bit steep in price. |
My husband made a beautiful ramp for Edie to get into our bed. It is carpeted, and very well made. It is attached to the bed so it can't tip over. Our neighbor came over while Gerry was making the ramp. Gerry was a little embarrassed about it. I overheard him tell his buddy, "I will pay you $1000 to keep your mouth shut about this project." Ha! :D |
What a great guy to take care of you and the furbutts so nicely! |
