If someone takes her to the vet...I can pay him/her over the phone or I will set up payment while they are on their way so the baby can be treated as soon as they get there!!

According to the doctor, Melinda runs the rescue. But what if this woman has already given this dog away (when I called her, the lady was there at her house). She said the Yorkie is so bald that she looks like a Chinese Crested - I feel so sick for that poor dog. What can we do? If that dog goes to this other woman's house and does NOT eat for a few days ... what will happen to her? She will die! :(

Call her back ASAP and tell not to give this woman the dog. Offer her money and I will paypal you the money to cover it.

I'm confused now...someone is there to pick the yorkie up bleeding as a pet?

Since this dog needs care and this woman has just handed her off, can someone call the police or animal care or something? They can at least investigate where this dog has gone to and evaluate what kind of vet care she needs and if the new owner will give it to her. If not, they can take the pup in.

Can someone who has already made contact with her, try to figure this out and see if we can't get some care to the doggie.

That is exactly why I am confused. I am sitting here at my desk at work balling my eyes out for this poor dog. I keep trying to call the lady but her phone line is busy. Some else please keep trying. Maybe one of us can get through.

OK, I just got off the phone with her. There is a lady from saisbury there picking her up right now. I told her that if it didn't work out with the other lady or if she wasn't going to take her to the vet to be checked out I would. She asked the lady while I was on the phone if she was taking her to the vet, and she she yes. So that is a releif! I gave her my phone number and told her to give it to the lady taking her so if it didn't work out to call me. salisbury is only 15 minutes from my house. I hope the lady taking her will call me but I doubt it. I asked some more about the dog and she did say the vet did not sew her up, just taped her and that she took her back to the vet and he said to let her drain and she kept her clean and put a bandage on her. She never said the name of the vet.I think it's all a bunch of lies. I think someone else did that to her. She told me that she may have some other dogs I may be interested in and to call her in about 30 minutes. I'm scaried too! I hope it's just for puppies. Which no way in HELL would I buy one. I hope all works out of the poor dog and if I hear any more I will let you know.

This woman that is taking the dog..did you get her number I will call her and I will pay the vet if need be!!

Omg. I looked up vets in Greensboro - there are over TWENTY !! If these people tell you the name of the vet - then maybe people can help !! That will ensure she actually GETS to one if they think people will help pay -

I saved the link with the vets if we can find out which one she takes her too - That is just SCARY !

The ASPCA would be who to call. They are awsome people, but usually ony a handful cover too huge of an area. I'm afraid the woman will say she doesn't know where the person lives that took her. With no info. there can be no charges against her and the poor little dog could die. I sure hope a maricle happens here, she'll need it. I am praying for her and hope she gets the care and love and affection she needs and deserves.

Do you actually think THEY performed a C Section on this POOR little girl by themselves ? do you think she even SAW a doctor at all ? That is SICK if that's what they did - no vet would let a dog get in this condition !

I have to wonder if the lady that pick up the dog is a good samaritain or what. Why would someone, (other than us) pick up a sick dog as a pet?
