A Rat?????
 
Kaya and I went to Wal-Mart and the grocery today to pick up a few things. On the way home, for some reason, I decided to stop at Mc Donald's for a fish sandwich. (I think I eat there once a year, now I remember why)

Kaya was in one of her bags on the front seat with the end open so she could peek out. As I pulled up to the window to pay, the kid leaned out a bit and said in a totally serious, monotone voice, "You have a rat in your car." :yelrotflm

That statement brought over the other guy and they were both leaning out looking at Kaya's little head. :rolleyes: I told them she was definitely NOT a rat, that I would never HAVE a rat in my car - that she was my little Yorkie. I explained we had been shopping and now she wanted lunch. (no, she doesn't eat McDonalds. :cool: ) They were now grinning from ear to ear at Kaya.

I just had to laugh as I pulled away. I assume they were doing the same.:D

Next time someone says you have a rat, just smile and say no, she's my "house-mouse". That's what I call my Raziel. :D

OMG, that's funny. My Yorkie, Tobie, looked like a small rat when I got him as a 3-month old puppy. When I brought him home and showed my sister and brother-in-law, they both said the same thing..."Why did you get a rat when you said you would get a dog?" I was laughing. Now, Tobie is our pet rat...especially after a bath.

All of our family members call Sasha and Jasmine a rat! I know they are small, but how do they get a rat from it? What a funny story though!

Oh yea....After DH bought me Max for my Valentine present, he said he could have gotten me a long haired Guine Pig for a lot less!! :D

Sometimes my mom will say something negative about my dogs and I tell her that if she says mean things about my dogs that I'm not visiting her anymore.:D :D

I worked with a guy from Mexico who always called Marty "Rata" (rat in spanish). He said it in such an endearing way. It cracked me up. He would say "Awww, Rata" followed by loud kissing noises, which Marty loved. LOL

I have a friend that refers to my dogs as "the rats" and it makes me so mad. I'm just like "THEY ARE NOT!". LOL. That's a funny story, though. :D

I think its cute when people call them rats, etc., when they aren't trying to be mean. My friends parents call Tucker dustmop, but they love him so I don't care.

and I cracked up at your story, cause I think that is the funniest/cutest thing ever. :p

Yeah people call Chloe a rat with fur. I think its cute because she always peers her head around the corner like I HEARD THAT!

Teri -- thumbs up to you for having such a great sense of humor. It is so much better to "laugh it off" than it is to get all up tight. I hope you enjoyed your fish sandwich -- :D it's 1:20 am and now I am craving a Double Cheeseburger and fries..... I need to go to bed.

I call my little guy Rat Brat or Bratty Rat or Rata Brata when he has done something that I should be mad at! :D How can I get mad at such a cute little Rat!?!? ;)

Speaking of dust mop did you guys see the commercial with the guy who spills the cereal on the floor and then gets a dust pan and uses the dog to sweep up the cereal into the dust pan. I never laughed so hard!

I saw that one too and loved it. I think the dog was maybe a pomeranian. I might not have thought it was so funny if he would have been using a yorkie as his broom.

I like to call all of mine, mommies little bugs.

Okay, so thid reminded me of a name our last Yorkie was called one...

My parents had gone out to a market one weeken and Dad was walking Trixie when they ran into one of Mum's work collegues... Monday morning the man asked my Mum if her husban often dragged his wig round on a piece of string! :rolleyes:

(Dad was fairly receeded hairline wise so me and Mum found this highly amusing that someone made a wig comment!) :D
