well, he's finally here. my baby yorkie pup. he's perfect. i had no trouble with him on the ride back (2 hours). no whining, no bathroom accidents or throwing up. although he was breathing pretty fast the whole way. i assumed it was because he was nervous. he's calmed down 100% now and breathing like a normal puppy should. he's eating his food, although i have to sit there with him while he does. he's drinking water. and going to the bathroom outside. i can already tell i'm going to have a tough time forcing myself to keep him in his crate because he cries. the breeder told me not to let him out when he whines because it'd be like rewarding him for crying. yikes.

btw, i decided to name him Kash. i think it's short and so true. he cost a lot, but he was worth it!

i will definitely post pictures soon.

Oh I remember when I had to sit by Grayson when he ate!! So cute I put a blanket over Grayson's crate and that seemed to work ok, that first night was awful he did better the second night for sure.

Can't wait to see pics of Kash!

Awwww so cute!!!

if you put the crate up to face you as you sleep it should help. we did this with both of ours and neither one kept us up at night...If they can see you and are close by they seem to like it better. I put the create on a short table and bring right next to me, never a peep from Sadie or Chewy ever. (A box turned upside down might work.)

When we first brought home our first yorkie, Sasha, We had to feed her with a spoon! But she is better now!
