Boy am I a fool
 
I took our little boy (I forgot what his new name is) to the airport to meet his new Mommy all was well until into his carrier he went and OMG I started crying !!! People were staring at me and his new mommy started crying. I hate that I do this as the new mommies always feel bad that they are taking my babies ... Please I hope other's do this .. if not somebody say they do just to humor me ;)

Fortunately, I have never had to experience this. I have cried my eyes out when our little rescues go to forever homes so I can't imagine how it would be if it were my own pup!! I would react the same way, and I don't just say this to humor you!! :p

oh thank you ... now I do not feel as silly. I start crying the night before they leave :(

I can sure see why you would cry. It shows you really love the little furbutts and how hard it is to part with them. I would be a blubbering fool for sure.

Vicki ~ this is just one of the many reasons I could never breed. I'd never be able to send them away!

Abigail's breeder had tears in her eyes, as we left her house.

awww thanks, you guys made me feel better. I just sat there and thought I must be crazy because I do this every time. I know I am making their new homes very happy and I have met a lot of new friends but gosh I just cry like a baby. LOL never cried when my 2 legged babies went off for a week or 2 with grandparents :cool:

I'm with you on this one. I'm terrible when it comes to my babies. It took a long time before I wouldn't cry and sit with my kid's blanket when they went to someones house for the night. With the furry kids, oh good grief! I cry my eyes out!!!!!! Whether it's puppies or kittens that are going to thier homes. You just put so much love and attention into the babies and to see them grow. It's very difficult.

Vicki ~ I just visited your site, and I must say you have some gorgeous horses there! The palomino reminds me of the one I had; she was half-Arab Saddlebred, and really too much horse for my experience. She threw me - crushed shoulder, broken arm :( - but, I miss her, to this day. I did get back on her though, heart-in-throat!

Completely understandable, if i was a breeder i'd be like that with every pup...you watched him come into this world, given him the best start possible, everything you have done till now has been all about this day...when you hand him over to his new mummy...it must be so hard...my Pixie's breeder had tears in her eyes as i was leaving with her...all i could do was hug her and promise to love & care for pixie and to keep in touch and send lots of pictures!

Thank you... I crushed my shoulder on my dad's horse when I was a kid now 30 yrs later it really is the pits lol As for your horse lol they can be a bit much as you had 2 hot breeds there. NHS is what they are called and lovly horses they are. I love my Arabs but I was in an accident 9/22/05 and have not been able to ride or do anything but sit here and go to PT .. So spending to much time on YT and another forum ...lol .. You will have to go back to the site ..we are trying to do a little store on it as I may not be able to ever work again :( :( I will not do the SSI thing either ! Plus we are trying to get the all the fur babies on there. I keep messing it up :eek:

For some reason I have no doubts that you keep her up to date on her baby :) I love each of them no matter what ! Have Koda left and he will go to Ash soon .. the first guy that wanted him saw him in Dec asked if I would hold him until the 2/9 I told not a prob and when he showed up he got nasty with me said he wanted a 2-3lb dog and Koda was not . I was like dude you bought a puppy I held him until you got back which now he is 15 weeks old oh well I think it was for the best as I told Ash the night before this guy was to come I hoped he would back out and Thank you Lord he did !

awwww i cannot imagine how hard it is to give up a baby you have raised and grown close to :( i do not think it is silly at all - it shows how much you care and want the best for the little furbaby! :)

We adopted a shih-tzu in 2006 adn then about a year later I had to give her up for adoption again because she did not like men. She tried to attack my husband so she had to go. The lady that adopted her had waited to get a dog for a long time. I cried so hard. Even when I gave her to her. I understand what you are saying.

My heart goes out to you! I know I could never breed my babies - that's why they have all been spayed or neutered as soon as they were old enough and passed vet health inspection. Hats off to you and all other great breeders we have on this site for doing what you do to ensure the integrity of the breed and that your babies go to loving forever homes. Ya'll are amazing:)

I would be the same way. This shows that you are a very good and caring breeder!! Anyone should be glad to get one of your puppies!!! You are making alot of people very happy!!! :D

What's your website???? I am a horse-nut, as well as yorkie nut. I have two arabs and a NSH. Would love to see your horses! (sorry off topic)

I hear THAT! Mine was crushed 23 years ago, and sometimes dh still has to help me turn over in bed. The pain catches me at the oddest moments in public, and I can't breathe. It's probably scar tissue built up (in both of us), so a dr would just suggest having it cleaned out.

Yes, Foxfire's Farishta was beautiful, but it was her spirit I fell in love with. "Equine...and, she did it on purpose!" lol I love Arabs, too; and Virginia is Arab country. Don't you just love the freedom classes at local shows? I'm not comfy riding Arabs, though...my legs are too long. :D

And I sure am HAPPY:D he backed out!!! I can't wait to get my Koda man!!! Give him kisses from mommie:p !!! Kiss the little one for me too:p !! And I think its SWEET that you cry.. It shows you really care;) !!

The freedom class is awesome. I was going to do native costume but got hurt and was going to start jousting with Ramses but got hurt lol the answer to everything "I got hurt" .. :animal36

Just wait until you get Koda the waterfall will start again !!! Now he is going to be a teapot and I did not shave his ears and really doubt we can get them up. But he is cute and he loves bed time !!!

Aww I feel so bad for you:( Its has to be so hard, That just shows how much you love and care for them, When me & shari ( sweetsophia) got together, we both cryed, I felt so bad for her, knowing she was so sad, She called me later that evening and we talked for a very long time:) it really helped, reasured her and me;) That was a couple mths ago, We still keep in touch, i love sharing pics with her and we have become friends:) another great reason to love yt:p :p hugs to you:)

I have had several calls today in regards to my babies that are now in their forever homes... seems the majority says they are spoiled :rolleyes: they do not like the treats I was giving them :rolleyes: They are overweight :rolleyes: Have super thick silky coats :rolleyes: 2 vets want to know where they came from because they are beautiful Yorkies and they all say their little faces always catches people ... I can feel the fool but I am a proud fool .. I mean Darn Proud of Bear Bear :D afterall she did all the work ! LOL this makes the 2 time a vet made an issue over my babies. The first was a vet in Dallas and she made me feel like I was on cloud nine ! Now if I can ever get them into the showring :)

You guys made me feel good ... thank you so much ...

I am glad you kept in touch with her. I am so happy that my last little boy Koda is going to Ash .. I think we will have a rewarding friendship. I still have 1 Biewer girl left and just can't make up my mind if I want her to find a forever home or not...oh yes we have Everitt still but he will not go anywhere at all
