Meet our Everitt.. he is our miracle baby but is not out of the woods yet. He is 8 weeks old :) but he is still thriving .. was a preemie

Some prayers that he will continue to be with us would be great as I have seen the power of prayer here :)

Oh my gosh, what a beautiful tiny treasure. Best of luck with him. With lots of love and careful attention, I'm sure he will be fine.

about 1 week early is by our calculations. We can't seem to get him past being anemic I know I did not spell that right.. Our vet has given him meds to boost him,up to date on worming, give him nutri-cal and he get his vitamins but still this morning his little gums are grey :( He has tons of energy and fat as a little flea .. so am hoping this will get better as he gets older he was born 12/17

Oh Everitt is not for sale ... I do not let any baby go that may have health probs they stay in the family ... Now heck he may get big enough to go show with his brother and sisters ..just for fun..

Oh he's too cute! Maybe that liver stuff would help him with the anemia, it's on the breeder's section, lemme see if I can dig it up for ya. Of course, ask the vet first, but if he's low on iron, this could give him the boost he needs, as it's always better to get a supplement of a nutrient from food and not vitamin pills, the body uses it better;)

Thank you. I will give the Vet a call and see what he thinks. Peronally I think why not try. He is still the same today but he pigged out on his food and that is the first time he did that and he weighed 1.2 Yippeeee so he is gaining !!!! Still keeping him on the nutri-cal and am giving him the powdered milk.

He is really cute and nope he did not like that sweater but in my house we do not run around nekkid ;)

Everitt says to tell all of you thank you for thinking I am cute and for all the prayers as He is a fighter !

Also I guess some did not see where I posted he was not for sale. I love PMs and getting to know people but I just will not sell Everitt as he is just not a healthy boy and I just can't let him go. I do hope people understand that. Out of 14 yrs he is the second baby that we will not let go :)

Aww... what a sweetie. I hope he makes it through. I am pretty sure he will though. Good luck with the furbaby.

I am going to try it Helen. The vet said there is no reason for the anemia at all. He wants us to see a specialist on Monday. He sure is a happy boy though and boy can he bite :D

I will keep all updated on him and let you know what they say tomorrow.

Update on Everitt
 
Well we had our visit and still Everitt is healthy and sassy and still anemic. They have no clue why. I did ask about the liver remedy and he said go for it. He had not heard of that before. I told him he needed to join YT then.

He feels Everitt should make it gave him a 80% chance but he maybe done growing. Today he was 1.21.

What was his bloodwork readings? Is he a splitter?
