Anyone have a Morkie? I know, I know.. controversial topic but does anyone here have a Morkie?? I'm curious as to what they look like as adults. Any pictures that show the transition from puppy to adulthood?? (Please don't comment on how you feel about breeding mixed-breeds and Morkies. That has nothing to do what I'm asking. :)) |
Well first of all I think it is very irresponsible breeding and here is why...:p Ohhh Kyle, you are either very naughty or very brave!:D |
I'm curious too. Personally, I love Morkies and I think they're adorable. I'd love to see any pictures if someone has one! :) |

(ETA: And of course, I'm kidding. With Hillary and morkies, I don't need anymore attacks with people thinking I believe in using glue and tacks on puppies. :P) |

I think maltese/yorkie mixes are probably the cutest mixed breed on average...but they can't help but be because they come from my favorite breeds - the yorkie and the maltese...both gorgeous breeds that are actually pretty similar to each other in structure and appearance. I've seen several maltese/yorkie mixes and they all looked quite different as adults. One that I know is just beautiful...looks just like a yorkie, except her ears are floppy and her gold is more whiteish in appearance..she has a cottony coat. Another one I saw looked almost just like a maltese as an adult...looked more yorkie as a pup but grew to have solid white hair as an adult. You can probably do a search online and find several picture of adults. here are a few http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/yorktese.htm and http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/yorktesephotos.htm |
Okay, here's one at a year old. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/yorktese.htm I know it is a YT requirement to point out that they will all look different though so there is my official disclaimer! |

Hey Kyle My sister used to breed morkies, but, the female she used was a morkie..so, she bred with either a yorkie or a maltese..I have 7 of them between my 2 sisters, mom and a nephew, and they all look different as adults..and since the mom was a morkie, it's really hard to tell, since I'm sure they look a little different..one of them my one sister has looks almost all yorkie, then a couple of them(at 5 years old) are mostly white with some black..I just see such a big difference in all of their looks, but, they are all adorable, and very sweet little dogs...wish I had some pictures of some of them for you.. |
3 Attachment(s) Here is my Cooper...his puppy picture, one at about 6 months old, and a more recent one, Cooper is 2 years old now. |
