I'm so sorry to hear about this. My 15 year old brother went through a phase where he talked a lot about this...
it was a very hard time for my family but he has since been to a dr. and is now taking medicine for it. I'm glad that he reached out for help.
I will be praying for you, this young boy and his family :(

Wow that is so sad. I hope he makes it and recovers. I can't believe he is only 13, i wonder what he is going thru. I will pray for him and his family that whatever they are going thru will pass by quickly.

Prayers going our for that poor boy and his family. It can sometimes be hard growing up but it makes me so sad to hear that one so young thought that this was the only option he had. :(

Oh wow I am so sorry. Saying many prayers for this child.

I just do not understand how a child can feel that hopeless :( :(

I was so sorry to read your post. Hopefully he will make a full recovery and get the professional help he so desperately needs. Unfortunately, in my profession as a mobile crisis counselor for children and adolescents I see kids of all ages thinking about suicide and doing all types of self harm. It is sad that this is what is happening to our youth. It is wonderful that this is such a caring community and so many people are sending their prayers hopefully he will feel them. I will be waiting to see how things turn out.

Thank you for sharing your sad story with us i am so glad that you hold no regret or no guilt in your heart because you are right it had nothing to do with you and i hope that everyone who reads this understand that when someone does this that it is that person's choice and no one but the person doing it is to blame i wished i would have seen this story sooner because i have blamed two suicides on myself i always thought what if i would have said this or done that and it took a long time to realize that i had nothing to do with it and your story makes me feel that much better that i have no guilt and i have no reason to because i did nothing to cause it.

Yes someone might decide to kill themselves because of this person did this or that person did that or whatever reason but in the end it is them that make the decision not the people who did this or that.

I wish I read the post earlier so I could have prayed for him, but I'll pray this morning for him and his family. I hate that children feel such pain and grief that they might want to kill themselves, but I can't believe no one at school said anything!! Numerous things could have been happening in that boys life or anyones life that would make them want to kill themselves only God knows the hurt and pain they feel and what hard ships they've gone through. I've been there.

It aweful to read about or hear that anyone has tried to do this to there self but it hurts you more when you know its a child.. We just recently read in the paper that a 10yr old hung his self in the bathroom at his school.. Alot of Adults don't realize what goes on at a childs school can permantly damage them in one way or another.. Some Kids can't handel it well and want to end there life.. I'm not sure if this is the case in this young mans situation but i know first hand.. I was teased and made fun of my whole life through school but I had a strong family and Alot of friends who talk to me and kept me sane.. But still till this day you can ask anyone who knows me i will be the first to down grade my self and diregard your compliments.. The words Sticks and Stones May Breck your bones but words will NEVER hurt me is a LIE!! .. I will hope and pray for this young mans return home and pray that god can enter his life and give gim the strength he will need to over come whatever he is going through
