I haven't share this with many but my sister-n-law was married to my brother for 20 years and she decided 2 years ago to kill herself....she took tons of pills and put a rifle in her mouth and shot herself. My niece/her daughter was 15 at the time and it has been so very hard on her, she was the only one there when her mother did it. I Thank God everyday that she did not found her. I don't think my niece will every get over this, she has had sooo many problems since this has happen. The son was older at the time but was able to handle it better then her. They both went to counseling for a long while! I have always said that suicide is a permanment solution to a temporary problem.

Suicide is something that I will never understand. Believe me, I know how hard life can be sometimes, but I can't imagine not being able to find some other way to cope with it. In high school, two of my classmates committed suicide. Both of them were due to relationship problems. I wish they would of thought just once how hard it would be on everyone that they left behind.

That is so terrible i am so sorry :( I just don't understand why people think of this as their way out of things i also had a friend that i went to school with tell me just last year that his wife had killed herself right after their baby was born that i just cannot imagine someone who has kids why would they want to leave them behind with all that pain :(

I also rebuke any hindering spirit that is anywhere near you .... I ask God to curse the very root of suicide around you right now and give you the peace that passes all understanding!

I know what you mean it took me forever to get over my aunt and my uncle and cousin still cry about it to this day it just kills them that she left them this way and for my uncle it is even harder because she jumped off the bridge down by my house no one seen her but they seen her car and went and got my uncle and he went running down the bank looking for her and he found her in the water and he jumped in to get her and honestly i don't know how he did it because he cannot swim a bit and he tried to do cpr on her until the ambulance got there but it was to late :( The thing is this was her 3rd attempt she tried to o.d but they got to her in time and rushed her to the e.r then she tried to shoot herself but she had the wrong shell in the gun they took her to a mental hospital and she was better for a very short while she even sit and told me she said Mary i am scared Dave (my uncle) told me that i tried to shoot myself and i would never do that i don't want to die she said what am i going to do. But for some reason either the meds stopped working or she stopped taking them because a week after she was released from the mental hospital she died:( she was diagnosed with bi polar but i know people who have that and live a long happy life

God Bless you too ! It breaks my heart to see families endure this a friend of mine her son 23 years of age hung himself in their back yard.... it was so sad to hear the story.. He lived with mom and dad and had a bio son and step daughter and the stepdaughter that night age 5 went in to wake up my friend which was her grandma and they did not pay attention to the 5 yr old they were tired so they told her get in bed and the 5 yr old was asking for daddy... I think to this day he woke up and said his goodbyes or whatever with that little girl ... no telling and she was scared by herself and she went to get in bed and noone adhered to what was taking place and boom the next morning they went to let the dog out and he had done this to himself .. sad thing is they never noticed but the evidence was planned during the day and they never thought anything about it.. he had numerous drugs in his system and going through a horrible time with the step daughters mom .. she was in her 20s too...sad situation... he left notes and everything his was totally planned out... her son had tried to call me and I had talked to him several times but when he called one time and was out of line with me anotherwords wanting a older woman well the week he killed himself i would not take his call.. i live with no regret because i had already planted the seed .. he made his choice!

I am speechless. That boy will be in my prayers and on my mind.
I had a friend who hung herself a few years ago (older than I).. but I haven't talked to her or seen her in years.. also the first day I was in HS a girl hung herself (obviously no one I knew).. there have been a few people I've heard of killing themselves.. but nothing close to home.
I am so sorry to anyone who has to endure the pain of losing someone close to them in such a tragic way. My heart is with all of you

oh my goodness, this is just awful to be happening.. prayers and good thoughts heading your way.. I sure hope they got him on time and he is saved..what on earth., like so many say... that a 13 year old's life was that bad... gee I feel for him and his family,..

MAry, I just got done reading through all your posts on this thread to see if you had posted anymore updates. I am so so very sorry to here this horrifying news. Please know my heart and prayers are with those involved and I hope the lil boy makes it. 13 is way to young to die and what in the world kinda stress or problem would make a child think that suicide was the only answer? This is just so heart breaking.

What terrible news...this poor boy. What ever possessed him to do something like that. My heart breaks for him and his family. I will pray that he survives this. I think some kids that try suicide don't even realize it's forever. I hope and pray they got to him in time.
