Easy little trick, three layers on your lap. the bottom layer being a peepad, then on top of that a towel and then the baby blanky to snuggle in, this way if she pees it doesnt get on you and if she throws up its just on her baby blanky, thats how we did it and we let her chew on a bullystick on the way home and she was just fine. just let her lay there and gently pet her, dont give her too much lovin to start because she is gonna be freaked out enough that she doesnt need what appears to be a crazy person in her face giving crazy kisses. just keep her relaxed like that and you will be golden good luck and congrats! |
Congrats on your new baby:) |
My daughter took the paper towel and held it under Sadies chin, when she was done throwing up, the puppy wipes are good for wiping the pups face. |
I am new to YT. I don't have my baby yet but am hopeful to get one someday. I have a shih tzu, a sheltie, and a lab though. :D You're so lucky to be getting a yorkie. I have been wanting one for 3 years but where I live, there are no breeders near me. I "settled" for a shih tzu (Teddy) and he's a cutie but deep down I still ache for my yorkie. I know she's out there somewhere just waiting for me. Anyway, Teddy gets car sick all the time. I would definitely use the kennel/carrier because it's easier to clean up the messes inside that rather than the upholstery of your car. :p Good Luck Judy, Teddy, Toula, and Dora |
