Ohhhh, I'm gonna be in so much trouble! This lady I know that I loaned a yorkie book to once, just called and asked if I wanted a 4 mo. old yorkie!:D Her first baby was attacked by a big dog and killed :( , so to ease her pain she purchased 2 more babies. She soon found out 2 puppies was more than she could handle, and found a home for one and her daughter was attached to the other one. Not sure how old the daughter is, but I guess the "new" has worn off, and now she's looking for a good home for the second one. She said if I wanted him, she'd GIVE him to me, other wise she would try to sell him. She's coming by my office with him at 11:30 so I can see him. Ohhh, DH is gonna kill me! We rehomed our little stray about 6 wks ago, and was just talking how much easier it was to walk 4 instead of 5! Oh gosh, I don't know what to do!!:D |
LUCKY! I'd take him in a heartbeat, wish I lived closer:( Maybe you could foster him and find him a really good home. |

Oh wow! I wish I could be the voice of reason, but all my reson goes out the window when it comes to yorkies! My bf made me swear that Brady would be our last, but if I were in your situation I think he would be helping me welcome a new little guy home! Like someone else already said, follow your heart, whats ment to be will be! Good luck!:aimeeyork |

I haven't even seen him yet and my heart is telling me to go for it; but my head is saying, should I really? Just not sure what DH is going to say.:( I have 4 yorkies now, and my bed is full! |

She said he was born Oct. 8 or 10, so 4 mos old. She just called me back though, and she has someone coming to see her house today (they're selling), so she won't come until tomorrow.:( Well, that'll give me more time to think about it and work on DH a little.:D |
You cando it!!!! Just sneak him in the door and he can blend in with the rest...Your hubby won't even notice right away. Then when he says where did HE come from, you can say Oh... honey, you must be going crazy...we have had little (Fill in the name) for a loooong time now. Don't you remember? I would charm him into it!!!:yelrotflm Men are such softies with Yorkies...;) |
Oh my gosh, some people have all the luck. I know I wouldn't be able to say no to a free yorkie. It is hard to walk 5 though. If I were you, I would at least take him and try to find him a good, loving, yorkie home. |

take him Take him and if your husband throws a fit maybe you can give him or sell him to a person that needs a good deal (like their husband won't let them spend 1,000 on a dog even if they could afford it)lol. |

No update yet; she's bringing him into my office today. I did talk to DH last night, and, even though we are happy with having 4, he can't turn down another yorkie in need.:D I came prepared to keep the little fella; I just hope she doesn't change her mind.:eek: I'll update after she comes, she's gonna call first, so I don't know when to expect her. ;) :) :D |
