| ookay i thought yorkies.... were all small....me andmy girlfriend took california for her third setof shots at petsmart the other day and in the doggy hotel there was a yorkie. Only this yorkie was bigger than some of the beagles in there. So after looking for a few minutes i realized it was a pure breed. it had all the features of a smaller yorkie but was way bigger. so i asked one of the doggy hotel workers was it a yorkie to be sure and they confirmed it. this caught me by surpise becuase i thought they were a small breed but this one looked as if it could hold its own agaisnt most of the dogs in there with him...

| Yup, they used to be bigger dogs so you can still get some big yorkie genes. I used to own one that was eleven pounds and there are some on YT as big as fifteen to eighteen pounds.

| Belle is 8 lbs, and though it's a lot to carry around in a purse, i still think she's pretty small...in fact i love her size, i can play and rough house with her w/o worrying if she's gonna break!

| The great thing about the larger ones is that I feel I can roughouse with them a little bit more without hurting them. They're fiesty and love to play, but I feel I have to hold back with the tiny ones. |
