That give me chills. So happy for you!! |
I am so glad to hear the great news!!!!!!! |
Im so glad you found him. |
This just brought tears to my eyes. Your love and care for him showed through your post. I'm so thankful he's home. And little does Sawyer know, but he will have even a better home life, nicer yard, and more love because of his little excursion. What a wonderful family that found him too. And Sawyer must be everything you said he was, because for that woman to invite him into her daughter's bed. Special special boy!! I only wish and pray that all lost dogs are rescued and returned so quickly. |
Sooo glad he's back! I know you are relieved!! |
Thank God!!! I am so happy for you all! ;) |
It is a huge huge relief.... we have had such a hard time with him... he's the sweetest lab ever... but a renegade at heart. When we had him in the house all the time, he would open doors, break the dog food bins, eat all the food, dig in the corners of the flooring to find crumbs (and I'm NOT that messy!)gouged out the new wood flooring so we had to replace it....made a huge puddle on my new carpeting. And we have been remodeling to sell our house so we can move. So he had been banished to the outdoors much to our dismay. Well, he wouldn't stay in the yard and was wreaking havoc on the neigbor's garbage and eating THEIR dog food! So we started penning him up, but he was soooo sad out there. He's been a house dog for 4 years.....My dear friend offered to keep him in her fenced yard till we move and put a fence in the new place, which was the plan. We bought 20 acres about an hour from here. Well, her fence just didn't contain him. So we will bring him home, and try to have him in the house again, with lots of supervision. We really love him, and want him in here. The next house will be designed more for dogs. We plan on having a daylight basement with dog-safe flooring... also laminate everywhere on the main floor and only carpeting on the upstairs in the kids' rooms. And yet in spite of all our trouble with him we love him dearly, and he's like a giant lap dog. He wants to be right on top of you. he's only bad when he's not with people! he wants to be with us all the time. But he doesn't enjoy going bye bye...it stresses him out. Anyhow...long story. Hope no one thinks we are terrible pet owners. We love our furry friends alot.... Thanks soo much for everyone's thoughts...I know it made a difference. i knew I could count on the yt friends. deb |
Just saw this Deb, thank god he is safe and sound :D |
So very happy to hear you have your boy back:) This is the first time I heard of a dog named Sawyer like my yorkie! I was just sick thinking of him out alone in the cold. Isn't it typical for that big ole scamp to be found in the bed of some sweet young girl, all warm comfy and asleep, while you were scared to death? I bet you have a ton of tales about this goofy boy over the years, and now you can add more!!;) |

I was laughing so hard, and wishing someone caught that on video... he lopes over all dopey like...."why are you laying on the ground??" and licks my face. he's sooo funny! BTW, his official name is Sawyer Brown...as we love country music and well, he's brown..... deb |

I'm glad Sawyer will be home with you again :) |
it must be something in the name. My Sawyer is a clown too! His name comes from Sawyer on the Tv show LOST, he is gorgeous, but a little bit of a bad boy, just like my Sawyer.:D |
Thank god for answered prayer :) |
Sawyer vs Marley Have you ever read the book "Marley and Me"? Sawyer sounds soooo similar to Marley. Or.... maybe you should write your own book.... "Sawyer and Me". So Sawyer will get to stay in the basement in the new house? I just want to make sure he's not going to be out looking for more neighborhood girls to sleep with. :p |
Thank goodness for some good news today. I am so pleased. Best wishes. Sheilagh |
