Awww Mary, this was such a sweet post. How nice of you to explain everything but I am so sorry that you were scared to tell the whole story right from the beginning, although it's not like I don't understand why :( Sometimes people here do get "jumped on" for things, and I think we as humans are alot of times too quick to judge others. However in your case, you were only trying to do what your heart felt was right...and I have to admit, if I was put in your situation, I probably would of done the exact same thing. I think it would have been heart wrenching for any one of us here to just close our eyes and walk away, especially on such an AWFUL situation - knowing what we were leaving behind  Please don't feel badly about anything and yes you DO deserve our friendship :) You are a great person and just the kind of member that we love and need here - one who desperately loves and cares for animals :) I personally am so thankful that you are a member of this board  |
Good Job Mary!!! |
Mary, your kind and loving heart shines brightly for all to see. As for where Max came from and how you adopted him ...well, that is between you and sweet Max, and again .... that is your kind and loving nature rescuing a sweet little puppy in need. Keep shining Mary, the world needs more loving people like you. God Bless. :heart to :heart to :heart to :heart to :heart to :heart to |
Mary I dont know you, but what you wrote is not only pardoned I dont care that you lied, the main thing is you saved 32 dogs from appalling and inhumane conditions and that you should feel so proud of. There is no need to say sorry. God bless you for what you did:thumbup: |
You did the right thing. Think of how many puppies you saved. You not only saved Max but all those other dogs! Don't feel bad for what you did. I don't think you even needed to apologize. But thanks for sharing the truth. And now there's one less byb in the world! Thank you! |

Mary you don't have to apologize for anything. A lot of people don't know about puppymills before coming here and I can see why you left that part out. I am so proud of you!! You took a stand and because of you all those dogs now have a chance at a better life. You did a great thing. Hugs to you and Max!! |
Awhh, all is forgiven! Honestly, I can't blame you for being afraid to "fess up". As much as I agree with being against byb'ers/puppy mills (as opposed to show breeders/decent "hobby breeders") I know how heated these topics can get on YT. I'm just glad you were able to rescue your little baby and bring him back to health! *HUGS* D- |
Ok I'll tear up with you!!!! :dalmation I am so blown away that you could not allow yourself lie and let it go. These days people lie and shrug it off like it was nothing at all. the fact that you couldn't do it tells me you are a VERY GOOD PERSON! We all make mistakes to be sure. But those that can look inside themselves and see where they have gone wrong, and do what they know is right is one of the most noble of all in my eyes... God is smiling down on you thinking well done my child right now!:angelhalo Chewy came from a pet shop. We love him to death...our little baby. I didn't know about puppy mills...:idontknow I have felt horrible about the way people talk about PET SHOP PUPS...Like he is gonna get sick and die any second! I know he COULD get sick... I know he had a very BAD START... but I LOVE THIS BABY and it is hard to hear people talk badly about HIS KIND...So I understand how you felt. :big_hug: There is room here for all yorkies and their mom's... they all need love and care and I love it here because if you don't own a yorkie you don't understand the bond that you have with them... :yorkiesar I'm so glad you are still her and I hope you NEVER GO AWAY!!!!! We need more loving honest people in all our lives and you measure up in my book!:ghug: |
Mary, You have saved so many little puppies lives. What difference does it make how it came about...the results show you are a true angel! Max is so lucky to have a mommy as special as you! :hearts-en :hearts-en :hearts-en :hearts-en |
Proud to Know You!! Dear Mary, Please Know that I am Proud of You. I found this quote that fits you to a tee. Quote:
Sincerely, Kathy |
I understand why you were afraid. I hope you are able to enjoy your "success" now and not worry about yt. You did a really good thing. ps Max is adorable. |
Mary, I am proud to be a member of the same group of people that you belong to. I feel exactly how you feel about afraid of being bashed. I have seen it over and over on here and it is not pleasant to see. In fact, your story will make me stand up and say....Murfee came from a flea market!!! My children bought him as a gift for me 4 years ago. I have never lied, but I never admitted it because I didn't want to get bashed. You are a much braver person than I am but because of you, I have the courage to admit it. I have no idea what kind of breeder he came from but I love him with all my heart. Thank you for taking a stand. I think you are awesome. |
I didn't expect this post to go this way or this far the outpouring of love and kindness coming from every single post sends tears rushing from my eyes and warms me all over I see how forgiving and supportive everyone is and I sit here and THANK GOD that i have found you all when posting this i kept telling myself you know what you did was wrong (not telling the whole true story) and you have to make it right no matter what the outcome I can honestly say once again that never and i mean never in my life have i ever felt so much love and caring from so many wonderful people the world would be a much better place IMO if it was filled with yorkie lovers not even just yorkie lovers but animal lovers in general sending love to all my yter's friends and family :ghug: and to addicted hun thank you through all the tears you cracked me up with "I must say, you're one hot mama " thank you that was a chuckle that i needed badly :p |
