| Your guess is as good as mine, it all depends on so much, the dogs before her will help determine her weight but remember her ancestors...just love her no matter what size she gets...chubby girls need love too. LOL Just kidding, my little girl is still growing at 6 months, her mother was 7 lbs. and her dad was 5 lbs, time will tell. She has my heart and that is all that matters.

| Welcome to YT. Did you see your puppies parents? That would give you a clue, but you'd really need to go back generations to have an idea.

| about the ears they could be down because of teething, my little girls were down untill 13 weeks I believe. There are growth charts you can check out that will give you an idea of her weight. |

| Reply Presleys ears stood up at about 12 to 14 weeks,He weighed 1.5lb at 8 weeks. He,s 23 weeks now and 5.5lbs.He seems petite,im,e told he will mainly fill out now, more so than grow taller. But yes they do seem to vary an awful lot.Im,e hoping Presley will not grow too much more.I chose a yorkie because they are small.I can tuck him under my arm now,but if he gets too heavy I won,t have the strengh. |

| I agree with the everyone, it's very hard to tell how big your Yorkie will be. Chloe wasnt 3 pounds at 12 weeks but thats what she weighs at 3 years. Personally I am much happier that she isn't a wee little tiny one as they are prone to more health issues. The breed standard for weight is 5-7 pounds but thats just a guideline, there are many adorable cuties that are considerably larger Congrats on your upcoming new arrival, you will be amazed at how quickly you will fall head over heels in love with your Yorkie. They truly are the most incredible dogs!!
