| Having 2 Yorkies? My fiance and I got a Yorkie about a year ago. We work all day and I feel like he needs a friend. We are thinking about getting another Yorkie. Has anyone been in the same situation? How was it when you got another dog? |

| Chewy is one and a half years old and Sadie is 15 weeks. They love each other...but chewy went through a jealous stage. He is doing better now. the thing is... SAdie is in a cage when we go any where, so chewy isn't able to cuddle up with her just yet...All in due time when she is older... the other thing is, I am not working right now...Sadie needs to eat every 5 hours. It was more often when she was younger.... I;m not sure how you feed a puppy when your not home. I guess you can leave food for them but you have to make sure the older puppy doesn't eat it! Chewy wants to eat Sadies food and she wants his... that is my biggest nightmare. Because Chewy has always been a free feed dog...

| Multiple Yorkies Are Great! My C.C. (female) was an only Yorkie for about 10 years, although she had my kitties to keep her amused during the day. Eventually, I got involved in Yorkie Rescue and now I have adopted 2 very senior & special needs Yorkies, plus a 4 year old! Total: 4 Yorkies! (3 female/1 male) It's Great! C.C. is now the Social Director -- kind of like "Julie" used to be on 'The Love Boat'! C.C. is also very nuturing to the special needs pooches AND gets to romp with the 4 year old -- the best of both worlds! I should have brought C.C. home little Yorkie friends years ago!

| 2 are better than 1 Starsky was a year when I brought Shylah home. He was a little jealous and didn't want anything to do with her for awhile. Now Starsky is almost 3 and Shylah is almost 2 and they are the best of buds! So protective of one another and you can just see the love they have for one another. I definitly think 2 yorkies are better than just 1! Be careful, they are like potatoe chips, you can't just have one!! He He He He!!!!
