| How long are you leaving the bands on him at one time? You should change the pads out regularly and wipe "that area" down often (I use baby wipes to do this) as if you leave it on him too long, and he marks in it, he can actually get very raw and it can sting the skin and become very uncomfortable for him.
I doubt most people do this, but I actually use regular pads (not the thin little panty liners) and I use the ones that have the plastic lining so that when they mark, it sinks down INTO the pad, instead of it just sitting on top of the pad and irritating the skin. |
