| Bladder Infections My Yorkie Sidney will be 5 months old soon and she has been potty trained since about 10 weeks old. I trained her to pee on a puppy pad. I have never really had a problem with her peeing on anything else but where she was supposed to until recently. She has been peeing on the floor right next to her puppy pad. She also peed on my bed the other day when I sat her down on it, which she has never done before. I have been doing some research, could it be a bladder infection or could it just be her temperament? Any thoughts or input are greatly appreciated!! |

| I would definitely have her checked for a UTI.

| I agree...When Miko has peed off of his pad, it's because he was having urinary problems...

| I agree, have her checked out for urinary infection. When I was giving Jazzie an all stages food she was on a roll with crystals and urinary problems. Since I switched her to Innova puppy all is Goooooodd. Sometimes when they don't drink enough water that can cause urinary problems, holding it for too many hours, etc. Also when you catch her tinkling on the pad, give her a cheerio or choice of treat to reinforce the good behavior. Good luck!
