Very sad day
 
I picked up Dixie's ashes today. they had them in a box inside a velvet bag that has Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge embroidered on it. I cried so hard and kissed the box. It just doesn't seem possible that this time last week she was laying next to me. I know she is restored to health but I miss her terribly.

Bless you sweetheart! I know it's sooo hard when they go but she's running and playing and waiting until you join her! I'll be praying for you and hoping that you start feeling a little less of the emptiness that comes with losing our beloved furkids.

I know this feeling, but with time it will get easier and the pain subsides.

i am sooo sorry for ur loss ive lost a dog before and its the hardest thing..but she is healthy and in a better place...if u need anything we are here:(

I am very sorry for your loss... When we lost our TBone this summer it was really tough, but I get a good feeling having his ashes near me, I talk to him all the time and even hung his stocking with him for Christmas. It does get better with time but having him close makes me feel better.

I know how terribly bad it can hurt to lose a sweet little furbaby but we have to remember that they are always there watching over us until we see them again. Also know that everytime you think you can feel her, that she is right beside you giving you her love and puppy kisses.

I know it's not getting any easier. I wish there really were words to ease your pain.

Those of us that have lost fur-babies understand your pain and emptiness.

I am so sorry you had to go through this pain.

awwww, Patti, I'm sorry. We have Bandit's ashes in a little box near his picture. About a week after we got them I found his little red bow under my son's bed. (He used to take it out because he didn't like a bow on a boy:rolleyes: ) I opened the box and set it on top of his velvet bag and cried like a baby. It does get easier, I promise.Hugs to you.

I like to picture her romping and playing with my lil Muffin at Rainbow Bridge. They are both just waiting for us to get there, too. {{{Hugs}}} I know it hurts.

Ahhhh I so understand. {{{{hugs}}}} Even if you know...they are "better off"...it doesn't ease the pain in the early days.

It is hard no matter how long they are with you but it does get easier with time. I've lost many in the last 40+ years and it never gets easier. I know everyone here at YT will keep you in their thoughts.
