Maxs Momma!!! I just wrote a check out to Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels, and put "Maxs Momma@Yorkie Talk" on the memo line. I'm gonna continue monitoring IPPRA to see if any of your little angels wind up there. I'd love to give one of them a happy home. MAXS MOMMA FOR PRESIDENT!! You've made me so proud to be a member of YT. |
This is just such Great news.... I wish it was not there in the first place but Yay for maxs_momma and everyone else who helped shut them down.. |

This is why I am always writing about WE have to change the laws or this type of thing will continue. Please don't be surprised if she gets some of her dogs back because the law will allow it. |
Most of them will be staying at our humane society the rescue group have offered to foster some but from what i was told that a majority will be staying here in my town so they are going to need loving people to come in and give them forever homes |

This was just posted on tmnews comments and it was from one the humane society ladies :) "Ok her is the deal, and the TRUTH..... These pups were covered in urine, feces, and vomit, stacked in cages in ther living room. Their feet were sticking through the crates and the smell was GOD aweful. The dogs in the "shed" had no heat and were matted to the skin, one could not even walk because the hair was so tight to its skin. She did say a pup had died Fri and one again on Sat, that came from her mouth. The police gagged at the smell when she opened the door, did you not read that in the artical? I will also tell you something else, the pups were not wormed and are full of them, no Vaccinations had been started and they have lice..... period end of statement. She didnt make any money???? WHATEVER she is on disability/SS and does this on the side...again her words. What some ppl will do to another living soul is disgusting, weather its human or animal for the sake of making a buck. I am so thankful that there are rescues and people out there that care enough to do something and help......Thank you to all that were involved in getting this done.......You are all ANGELS in my eyes!!!!" |

This whole story gave me chills. WOW. Max's Momma, you TRULY are an angel, and a hero. I can't believe the things people will do for MONEY. It's sickening. I wish I could provide a home for one! I've been volenteering at my animal shelter, and when I get my own place, I can't WAIT to adopt. It's so sad to see those little ones in the kennels. But those poor angels will find wonderful homes. Man, it's such a MIRACLE that you were in the right place at the right time, in order to stop all of this, and SAVE these babies. HAVE FUN at the humane society! HAHA! You won't be able to resist those little faces for too long!!! What an amazing story...:) |

good going that is so great u were able to get this done...u rock!!! |
I have some family and friends in Indiana, and if they come up for adoption (not even just the Yorkie) I know at least one couple who really wants a smaller dog, but they are big on humane society and rescuing dogs (as in they won't buy from a breeder) so they would probably be really interested. I hope all these babies find great homes, they have allready been through so much! |
