OMG you are an angel for those little ones and they think you for sure. I didn't get that part where you explained they were picked up.......Congradulations girl. Now bet the cops will hear about it also. Guess putting them off didn't work this time. You are great!!!!!

Congratulations and a huge thank you for saving those babies. It must feel really awesome to know you were able to actually make a difference. I just found this thread and wow what a great ending.

You are my hero as you didn't give up and you didn't turn your back on this awful situation. Most people would have as it was to much work to do what you did. You didn't let up. My only wish is that more people were like you. I also want to commend all the rescue groups that came together and also took action so the voice of the "animal lovers" were heard and the police took action. It doesn't always happen this way. The next leg of this is what will happen to the woman. I hope if there is a trial that you know when that is going to happen so you can get everyone to write to the Judge to throw the book at her and not return any of the dogs to her.

Thank you but i still give all the credit to the ones here at yt and to those rescuers :D Actually i am supposed to go to court when this happens so that i can testify to what i saw.

Oh and the smell i was talking about that hit me in the face when i walked in her trailer it was described to me by Melissa as a death smell and you know i never thought about it at the time but she is right it smelled like dead and dieng animals :( I am just glad to see that they got her shut down! Knowing something could be done has moved me so much that i have ask them if i can start volunteering at the humane society with anything they need done like cleaning cages, walking dogs, giving baths,transporting etc. and they said of course i can!!!

It took a lot of people to make this happen but if it wasn't for you raising the flag it would not have happened. Most people just make one phone call and leave it at that.

The smell of death is not something you will ever forget. :(

Good for you volunteering as there are many things many people can do. Some can do rescue, some can foster, some can help at animal control or humane societies, some can donate, some can help look at homes, and some can write to the legislation to help end these types of things. Every bit helps and I would hope any animal lover would help in anyway they can.

Again, it took a lot of people to help save these animals but it would not have happened if you hadn't raised the flag.

:eek: I haven't been able to read all the updates [we are out of town] but just had a minute to peek in. Max's Momma, I can't tell you how much your persistence is appreciated! Thank you for all the babies rescued and for all those that will be rescued because of your unselfish act of love & kindness!! It's just amazing what can be done when just one person speaks out for these little ones!! Good job!! :thumbup:

Oh come now....ALL the credit to others???? I don't think so! I highly agree with livingdustmops.....your red flag is what made this happen. I would say YOU deserve most of the credit...also Mom2BabyNatalie for her website suggestions that helped really get the ball rolling. I will also be proud to give to all of your fellow YTr's(including myself as one of them) a little credit for the moral support we all gave. Having been a part of this situation from the beginning, even just through here on YT, I feel so proud that in just a teeny tiny way we were a part of saving those animals. Thank you maxs_momma for making us aware of this situation and allowing us to help you and encourage you on. I am proud to know you and would love to meet you and give you a big thank you hug :bighug: in person!

Now I hope they deal appropriately with the owner. We had something similar happen in TN. Over 100 dogs were rescued from a similarly deplorable situation. Some of the dogs died. Some had to be put down because they were so diseased from lack of care!!!

After the owner went to court, about 10 animals were returned to her!:eek: Her reasoning was the courts were taking away her livelihood!:eek:

I hope the courts in Indiana send the message that this kind of livelihood will not be tolerated!!!:mad:
