females like men better than women?
 
Does anyone find that their females like the men in the house better than us mommys? When my boyfriend is home my yorkie girl likes to be with him more than me, anyone experience this? When he isnt around she loves me, but not as much as him.:( She shows him way more affection.

Jewels loves us both but cuddles more with me. My Husband is definitely considered the pack leader though

well..i have 2 girls and i have to say girls are moody. sometimes, they are glued to their daddy and sometimes they want nothing to do with him. Same thing with me. Depends on the mood that they are in..really:rolleyes: They listen to my hubby more though..little monsters! Just last night, they did not want to do anything with me but they were all over their daddy. And this morning, they are glued to me and following me everywhere i go!

My female yorkie is very attached to men;) ....usually middle aged ones...

she's a certified flirt...the male yorkie loves me....nice to everybody...but definitely mine.

Yes this happens with my Lily, I spend all day with her and I am the one that cares for her and my husband walks in the door and it is like I dont exist, I hate it:mad:

I am definitely Autumn's favorite - Blaze seems to like my hubby just alittle bit more then me. Hubby says its only about 55/45!:aimeeyork :) :aimeeyork

This is something I have pondered;) Seems that my little girl gets all excited and gives lots of kisses to men. Any men, not necessarily Daddy. She will do this even with my 16yr old son. It is always Mommy's lap that she wants on when she wants to have a nap or needs protection from the scary noises though.:rolleyes:

Yeah, I have noticed Buttons give too many kisses to other guys too. My sister has a Dacshund(may spelled wrong) but anyway, she says that she is more attracted to her boyfriend when he is home, but if he isnt there she is her baby. Maybe its something with smaller breeds. I cant help if I get a little jealous when buttons is all over her daddy. Daddy knows it too and will say "stop giving me kisses, mommy will get jealous". I just pretend it doesnt bother me at all. ;)

Kacee is a flirt, too. She loves all men, if they pay any attention to her at all! We call them all her boyfriends.:D

Mine is a mommy's girl, but I am with her all day long. She will cuddle with hubby, but wants to know where I am all of the time.

Before getting Buddy I read several yorkie books.
One said that a male breed of dog will be more compatable with a
female owner while a female dog would be more compatable with a male
owner. I found that very interesting. Perhaps it's true.

Definitely not true in our house. My dogs follow me around and know that I am the pack leader. Although - I laugh sometimes as they use him to get what they want - like a treat or for him to pet them, but as soon as I get up - they are right behind me at all times.

yep martini loves her dad more then me and my moms dog is a maltese and if any1 of us goes near my dad and hugs him she bugs out on us...alot of female dogs are protective over the males in the house..they are "daddy's lil grls" lol

Rainbow will sit in daddy's lap for hours on end. Sunshine follows me around everywhere. Beamer and Sunnie are both Daddy's boys. Rainbow is starting to become a mama's girl at times too though. Sunshine HAS to be on top of my desk whenever I am at the computer...... rainbow is now joining her. I need a bigger desk when Beamer and Sunnie decide they want up here too.

oh this couldnt be more true! Bella loooove to snuggle and give Chris kisses and she never gives me kisses....a snuggle here and there but she is def a daddys girl

My baby girls definitely likes my husband more than me. And I'm the primary care taker - I feed her, put her to bed, etc., but she prefers to hang out with HIM! :mad:

I know exactly what you mean. I feed, water, bathe and clean up behind her, and she still is a daddys girl. Its just not fair, but I am glad she loves him cause he sure has fell in love with her.

Kassie is a daddy's girl for sure even though I am the one who looks after her. Kenji was a mummys boy and I still miss him like crazy even after three years.

;) Jasmine listens to my husband better and when shes in trouble she def comes to me but if hes there and shes not in trouble she way more affectionate to him even though i feed her and everything else but she still loves me so im ok with it! LOL

both of my boys have really cuddled up to me and only my husband if I am not around.

Chloe doesn't not get along with women very well. She very yappy at them. She gets used to them after a while but there is a difference. One of my roomates is a male the other a female, and she loves the male roomate, but does not like the female.

I don't know because I have a little furbaby boy...but I DO sense a bit jealousy when my boyfriend is around! Ha ha :)

I guess I should consider myself lucky, all four of mine only like me. If my husband even comes into the room where I am sitting they go into a barking frenzy. They are definitely mama babies. My husband never spends enough time around them I guess.

They all like my daughter also but she doesn't live at home anymore.
