We went to visit my in-laws and DH said I could bring one furbaby with us. Well I chose Pinky because she is the most calm and thought she would do the best. Molly and Princeton are more nervous and I think it would stress them too much so they stayed home with my adult daughter. Anyway, I got her health certificate from the vet and practiced getting her use to being enclosed in her airline approved Sherpa bag. I bought lots of clothes and cute diapers so she would not have any accidents in new surroundings at my in-laws. I am so proud of her and she really seemed to enjoy traveling. She was not nervous and even my in-laws were impressed with how sweet and well behaved she is (they do not own any pets so I really consider it a compliment).
Here is a picture of Pinky's first plane ride from California to Indiana. She would peek her little head out when she wanted some comfort.

That pic is too cute.....I am so glad you huys had such a good first experience...

I have that same Sherpa bag in black and another in green....We love ours

So have a lot of you travelled with your yorkies? I am planning a trip next year but don't want to put her anywhere but with me, how does that work?

Omg too cute. I have never taken mine on a plane she gets too stressed over any change in HER routine. Nice that you got to take her and she was so well behaved.

So, the airlines will let you place a dog under the seat? I thought the pups would have to be stowed somewhere special for dogs?
