yes..once you get the color then you just breed them to other biros and you will get biros from then out. Also remember that even the other colored puppies in the litter when bred back to a biro can also have biro because they carry the genes.

I love my Roxy's colors too... I think her silvery/blue hair and her golden tan hair, and then she has a blonde top... She is just so cute... I wanna glomp her up! I love her tiny little head too... and her big dark brown blackish eyes... She is so beautiful... *in love* :2hearts2:

Oh my gosh.....those puppies on the website in my opinion are very cute..so chubby. I just love puppies!!!

How do you register Biros in the US? Or don't you? I know Biewers are registered with the IBC.

From my understanding...this is correct. Biewers and Biro's are only seperated by color. In fact...they can be born in the same litter. Two Biewer parents can produce a Biro puppy if they both carry the chocolate gene. Just like two traditional blue and gold Yorkies can produce chocolate if they are chocolate carriers.

I know of a breeder in Germany that has them. I think his name is Roberto. Maybe if you sent an email to the IBC, Dagmar can help you

maybe she can refer you to a member in the U.S. If you pm me or email me at my website, I think I may know of 1 or 2 breeders that might do stud service.

The ACH-L is run by Dagmar. My registrations were all sent to me by Dagmar. I have ACH-L and IBC registered biewers and biros. Dagmar also runs the DHS in Germany. But your right, the IBC is its own club, its actually a smaller club under the ACH-L. And the ACH-L is a smaller club under the DHS.

You can register them with the Biewer Yorkie Association in the states. They will register them as chocolate /parti biewers and not as biro. Our you can register them in Germany with the ACH-L.

I just have to say I love the "underworld" of Yorkies. There is just sooo much I have learned about different types and different breeds. I hope to one day be an expert too!

She is totally cute!!! I have a friend who has a chocolate and friend who has two Biewers, I LOVE the chocolate parti!!! She is so sweet!!! Keep us posted on what happens with her and if you do get to breed her!!

Gosh, I have puppy fever. She is beautiful. So this may be a stupid question but can you not purchase frozen sperm if you do not have a local stud?
