So sad.... This is so sad, in so many ways. Kudos to you for raising the orphaned pups. This so called breeder doesn't need to be breeding at all!! :thumbdown Very irresponsible!! :thumbdown RIP little momma |
Saleswman and sexiixtc thanks you so much on the offer to help to donate to save one of these puppies, Thats so sweet of you both, BUtI wouldnt feel right taking the money from anyone. I posted in the nursey thread yesterday that the lady came and got the pups. I was up most of the night worrying about them. The baby boy almost died on her is the reason I took them in. she does not have the time to feed and care for them, shes never home. She wante dto pick them up early so her boys could have them to handle because of the sadness they was going through with the death of the mother. But these babies are to small to be handled by kids, They still had very soft stool and I just worry so much about them.I wanted so bad not to give them back to her, But they was not my pups. and I just couldnt do it. I was hoping that she would come down on her price for me sense I did care for them and got the little boy back on his feet. but no she only said thank you and left. I gave her my heating pad and some extra goat milk because I know she wont buy them any. she naver has, all the milk came from Mickeys breeder that I borrowed to feed them. And everyones so right. why did she even breed a 3lb Yorkie. and what was Mickeys breeder thinking in useing her stud for such a small baby girl. to me its just the $$$. I put a lot of time in those babies and got so attached to them. and now Im sick with worry. |
What a sad sad story. I'm so sorry. |
2 Attachment(s) Heres the thread to the nursery where I was posting their story and pictures. They are so cute. The other pictures of them on that thread are zoomed in so they look bigger but as you can see in the pictures below, they are very tiny. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...=111714&page=2 |

this thread really upset me!!!!!. I am surprised like you as to why she didn't go looking. My babies NEVER go outside unless I am out with them and have them in my sight at all times even tho I have a fenced yard. if they go around the corner of the house, I am right after them. Not only that, but i stay close enough to them to scoop them up in case of danger unless it is nice outside and they are running and playing. I keep my eye right on them even then. I guess that's why I have a problem with people that contact me that have lost a dog or had one have a tragic preventable accident. I usually don't sell to them. |

I dont know this lady I know Mickeys breeder but yet I dont know nothing about her really either. and Im like you , when My babies go out to potty im right there beside them, I wont even let them go to the front yard and we live aways from the road but i have always told them no bad and dont let them go that way. and I dont let them out of eye shot. The lady and her boys did go up and down the streets looking for their dog, I dont know if they looked in their own yard or not, But from what I heard is that they didnt even find their dog in the bucket, It was a man she hired to rake her yard that found her and called her at work and told her. and the only thing I have heard about her is from this other breeder and to me she thinks shes not going to care for the pups like they need cared for. One almost died on her already. Thats why I took them in, why she was so in a hurry to take them back home again, when she has such a busy life I just dont understand. because I was doing it free, I never asked for anything, all I cared about is the pups and getting them healthy. and she was shocked when she came in to get them, she said they had doubled their size and that they looked great. |

This is such a sad & troubling story...but I am glad you posted it. Freak accidents happen to even those of us who keep a good eye out on our babies...this just alerts everyone to do a double check of our and our furbabies surroundings...inside and outside the home....as soon as I read this I did a doublecheck just to be sure I had nothing around that could catch any of them offguard...So sad but you gave the babies the love and attention they so much deserved..even if it were short lived. Maybe she'll realize she can't do what you did for the pups since their mother is gone and bring them back to you....oh, how I hope so!!!!!! I pray they don't suffer.. |
Well its not looking very good for those little pups, I been calling to check on them yesterday and today, But no answer. Mickeys breeder called me and told me she had calle dher today. Said that she never picked them up any milk. I said what so they been with out milk for what 24 hours now? She said the lady said shes just going to feed them the older dog food she had and wondered if she can give it to them dry or if she had to add water to it. Im just shocked, Those babies was just starting to get good at sucking a bottle, theres no way they can eat yet. they have no teeth and they need that goats milf, that lady must be crazy. and when she does give them solids it needs to be so mushy and just a little at a time until they get use to it. She said that they had cried all night, well sure they did, their hungry.Im so worried about them, and theres nothing I can do about it. They still had soft poops , and I told her she need to ask her vet if theres something they can have to make their poop more solid, but no all shes worried about is them eating on their own so she dont have to bottle feed them. |
Isn't that like animal neglect or abuse? Can't the authorities be called in? I know that is drastic.........but these babies are going to die!!!!! |
Oh my, this is so sad. I understand the horrible spot you're in, but I wish there was someone that could speak freely and directly to her? I came into the story late - Do you know anyone that she knows or any of her family that would be in a position to intervene? Those poor puppies don't have much of a chance right now. So sad........... And all the support and effort that you offered to her. |

Did you say earlier she taught school.. or was I reading another thread..anyway if she is a teacher.. gee I won't say another word.. pooh's mum |
this is just heartbreaking. The humane society or someone, even animal control, needs to be called. Someone needs to intervene or these pups are not going to make it based on her logic and lack of common sense. |
This breaks my hear!:( |
This is so damn heartbreaking. Debbie, didn\'t you say she is selling one, maybe you could buy him/her now and ask to take care of it??? |
