I was at my Petsmart that I totally love! The people are so nice and helpful. A customer came up to me and asked what kind of dog I had. I told his that he is a Yorkie. She says to me, he can't be a Yorkie, he is too big. Are you sure he isn't a mix???? I was hot! I told her in my snooty, don't pick on my baby, voice that Yorkies come in all different sizes! She says well mine is under 5 pounds. I just walked away and complained about it all night, lol. Now keep in mind that my Gizmo is 7 pounds!!! I was ready to throw punches, lol. I didn't realize how protective I was over him!!!!

Well, I no longer have to wonder.

Saturday we drove to MA/Ct border to pick my DS's GF and went into the Petco in Enfield,CT to pick up Kitty Litter while the gang was getting our lunch at Quiznos.

I turned slowly around and can only imagine the look on my face. I looked up into the face of a woman who was 6', (I'm 5'4') about 250lbs and watched as her face quickly went from smug amusement falling and into nervous chuckles.

I held her eyes with mine and slowly said with determination,

"His name is Milo. (take a breathe and add) Spaz."

And turn back around.

I barely heard her breathe behind me as I checked out.

She's just lucky it wasn't a day or two earlier.

That's all I'm saying.:mad:

Don't laugh, but english is my second language and I'm still learning:eek: what spaz means? is not in my dictionary and hubby is not around right now to ask him what that means, for what I guess is something NO nice at all:( I have learn so much english in yt more that any english class I have taken :lol tears

It\'s short for "spastic"

1. Of, relating to, or characterized by spasms: a spastic colon; a spastic form of cerebral palsy.
2. Affected by spastic paralysis.
3. Offensive Slang Clumsy or inept.

Most people use the word spastic in a derogatory way instead of in a medical condition way. When I think of spastic I think of out of control behavior, crazy, uncoordinated, etc.
