Im sure you will get to the bottom of it. Im assuming she did not mention anything about rehoming her when you spoke last night. I cant believe that she would rehome her and less on a site like puppyfind, and what makes it even worse is that shes a tiny baby. wouldnt she want to screen her potential new home? Its sad.

I am shocked that I was just told last night that none of the dogs from me was being sold because I did email her when I found out that she had some for sale, then find out today that you may be buying one of mine from her.

Hey hey hey now.... I am a perfectly capable - loving - secure - knowledgeable person to care for this little angel.... and I'm certain that the owner felt confidant of that.

And again... she wasn't advertised... on puppyfind or anywhere else.... she only told me about THIS little girl, after I contacted her about another dog that she did have on puppyfind.

I PM'd you again after that... you should have another.... :)

And I do understand that you're upset.... I just hope you know I had no idea about any of this.... I simply had a very nice lady tell me about a wonderful little dog she has who she felt would fit in with my world..... and I honestly pray that this doesn't change that. :(

no no no...what Im saying is that puppyfind is not a place where you sell ur dogs when you really care where the dog will end up (my opinion of course) maybe she wasnt advertised but thats where she found you. she knows nothing about you, and is ready to sell her to you. I did not say you were not able to care for her, I said she doesnt know the people who respond to her ad well enough to KNOW that the dog will be cared for. It was a statement for people in general not just you.

There are actually several very good, decent, respectable breeders who advertise their puppies on puppyfind.com .... some of YT"s own "featured breeders" for example.... tinies and otherwise...

Sure, there are bad ones as well..... but folks who do advertise their babies there, shouldn't be labeled simply because of those "bad seeds".... JMO

I don't know what the terms of the contract are, but that Deana says there is one.... I don't know what all of that entails...

I only know that as of this afternoon, I put a deposit down on this little girl and hope to have her home within the next couple of weeks....

Even if that person didn't list her on Puppyfind she is definitely in breach of contract by reselling/rehoming that dog. Every reputable breeder that I had spoken to in my pup search a couple years back totally stressed this clause to me. While the lady didn't advertise the small female at the end of the day if she can't keep her she is legally obligated to speak to Deana and let her know what the situation is.

Hon no one is trying to spoil your possible baby purchase and I am sure that Deana is not mad at you but at the whole situation in general. This is hard to swallow for a good breeder.

Prestigious Yorkies (Deana?), are you going to reclaim her? This is a very awkward situation indeed....:(

But it sounds like either she'll be in a good home....or she'll be back with her breeder...which is good either way...:)

I suppose that all I can do is pray that Deana finds me to be a suitable Mom for her little one and allows the adoption to go through.... :(

right...I doubt she's mad at you, Dena, as you didn't know. I'm sure she's not too happy with the owner of the dog though

well like I said to me puppyfind isnt too great. Im sure not all the ads on there are scams, I know one YT member that got her little girl from there and everything went great...that doesnt change how I feel about puppyfind my opinion is just that...my opinion. not everyone will agree with me and thats fine.
