Well I have to admit and please don't yell at me.. But i was one of those people who didn't know there was no such thing as a teacup... I knew that people wanted like 1000's for them in the paper though... And i have seen many people with a yorkie that looks like it was a few weeks old and it be years and them tell me it was a teacup.. Yep I wanted one there were so tiny and cute... But when i knew i was going to be getting a yorkie i started doing sooooooooooooo much research and found out what i did... I learned alot of everything here and a some other web sites but i fell in love here people are open and honest... when i got Mi i didn't care how big she will be or how bi she was.. actually she was te biggest in the litter.. i saw her face and seen how spunky she was and that was it... If i really wanted a "Teacup" Runt What ever u wanna call em i could have had the little boy that is half her size now.. and not pay as much as i did for her lol.. but all i seen in the future was bows and dreses... I think i'll end up with her being a "Teapot" or what ever you want to call it... That little hungry thing is 11wks and 3.5lbs... But ill love every bit of her chunky butt.. But im sure alot has to do wih me .. her food says to only feed her so much but i free feed her.. When she isn't hungry she will stop eting so I'm sorry so long but i wanted it to be known some people are like me and we don't know until someone tells us or we actually take the time to reaserch about it but im sorryalot of people are to lazy and wont... |
You can call your Yorkie a thimble for all I care, just don't torture tiny females by letting them get pregnant. And don't intentionally breed for a size that is proven to have higher health risks. The only reason to breed is to improve the breed. And a Yorkie with a higher risk of genetic defects is not an improvement. |

Please do not Attack me but why does everyone laugh about the label TEAPOT..... but TEACUP is a four letter word? Is it just because of the price inflation that some breeders do with the word TEACUP. I do not agree with the inflation of price for a smaller yorkie. This is very wrong to me but if a yorkie is going to be a lower price because it is going to be bigger is wrong too. I just wanted yorkies that had a great temperment (sp) and were healthy. |

As for the term "teacup" I don't like when people say that it's just a "key" word to make money. |
