NEw Baby GiRl!!!
 
I have been in contact with quit a few breeders and have made my decision on my new baby girl!! She will be coming in on Friday of next week and I don't think I can sleep until then! She is a bit older by a few months then Parker so it is going to be nice for him to have an instant new buddy!!

Now for the fun part buying tons of new stuff, and naming her. I was going to name her Pasiley but I think that I want to name my first skin kid that...so now I am confused (as I dont have any babies yet (skin) and probably wont for at least a year or so) Soo...does anyone have any good idea??!! And to I wondered how hard it is for a 6/7month old to be renamed?? Do they take easy to that?

Hey, congratulations on picking out your new baby! I know how that feels :)
That is so exciting! I don't have any name suggestions because that is the hardest but I don't think it will be too big of a problem to rename her. I've known a number of older SPCA rescue dogs have been renamed without any issues.

Oh, I do think Paisley would be a really cute name for her if you do decide to keep it in the running.

I am so silly, I am talking to Parker and saying all the names out loud and his head keep tilting like..."whaa momwy wat u sayin" He has quite the personality and man this is going to be interesting when she comes home!

That sounds like something I would do:rolleyes: :rolleyes: I do it all the time and she looks at me smacking her lips........I think she thinks I am talking about food:D :D I hope he picks a nice name:D

Oh your going to have so much fun shopping for girlie stuff now!! Pink and foo foo stuff I can just see it now,lol. It's about time your not the only girl in the house,lol.

Congratulations on you new furbaby, Parker is going to have alot of fun with his new sibling... They only names I can think of are Prissy, Dior and Diamond.:p You sound so excited and I'm very happy for you.:thumbup:

Ohhhhh I really like Prissy and Parker...lol. I am going to have to run that by my husband, but TOO cute! I like Dior as well...very shee shee!! Thanks Charly!

aww.. very cute. my lil parker butt is gettin' a sister?! :) how exciting!! we are going to be getting a lil sissy for Avie also, in the upcoming months.. hopefully sooner than later! anyways..i most definately think you should stick with the "P" theme, you've got goin' on!:thumbup: ;) ill try and think of some. congrats!! how exciting!!

OH how cool...congrats Tisha!!

I have to say I love the name Pixie and it stays with the "P" in Parker!

Also wanted to say I had Murphy first and than bought Mia from a breeder when Mia was 7 months old. She took to Murphy pretty much within about 3 - 4 days. Also her name was orginally Louise and I renamed her to Mia to Match Murphy right away. It took no time at all so I am sure your baby girl will be fine.

BTW she is just adorable. I can not wait to see more pictures of her and that adorable Parker!! :D :D

They adjust to name changes just fine. My mom got a shih tzu when she was 11 mos. and she changed her name, and she learned it right away.

Awwww....as soon as I saw her I thought of the name Precious, she really is. Parker is so lucky. He's gonna love her. Hope the week goes quickly for you. Enjoy!!!

My first yorkie was a rescue, he had been abused, and not from the same city I lived, the deal was since he was so abused, that I rename him, they hoped the new city and new name would make sure his previous owner would not ever find him..:eek: :eek:
He was about 2 years old, and we renamed him from Stormy to Brandy. He took it very well.. but we did it from day one..hope this helps you..
