Someone that found her might want to keep her. This sounds stupid and is really embarasing but I just Screamed at the top of my lungs for hours and one of foster dogs came back after I kept calling his name. When our cat was stolen I put big signs on our front (with photos of her) lawn saying that my children are crying and not sleeping and that we want the cat back. The next day the cat was returned tied to our tree. You might want to fax the local vets with a photo as well. Good luck I know how heart breaking it is.

I have been reading this thread since the night Delilah left, and have been checking back daily for good news. At this time, I am sure you are extremely discouraged, so I wanted to offer you some hope.

My best friend has this crazy cat named Sid. Sid is an inside cat, but was accidently let out one day by her hubby while she was away on business.

Sid was gone for months, in central Oregon, with cougars and bobcats just bordering their property. We thought for sure he had been eaten. Well two months later, here Sid comes sauntering home, yelling at the top of his lungs. He was fat and happy and not hurt at all. Here's were the story gets silly.....

My friend worked with this lady who was an animal psychic- she showed the lady Sid's picture and the lady kept saying something about this house with a porch that he couldn't get out of, and he kept trying and trying to escape. The lady didn't know he had been lost.

Anyway, we guess someone found the damn cat and held him hostage for a while! He got out and high-tailed it back home. Hopefully Delilah will do the same.

You are in our thoughts.. (Sorry so long!!!)
