I have ZERO experience with pee pads, i think the poop belongs outside lol. When im not home the dogs in the crate, they dont wanna go in the crate unless they really have too. Make sure the crate is not too big or they will think they can go poo on one side and then lay on the other side. |

Hang in there My baby Paco has tried to jump out of my arms and has done so quite a few times. When he wants to pet or loved on he will come to us. otherwise Paco is on his own. I have two boys Paco and Diego and they run the house but they tire out and sleep good!! As far as potty training if it is a boy try the belly bands I have used that and it helps a whole lot!! for the females well just luck. both my girls have been very good. Hang in there they are alot of fun!! |
She sounds like a Yorkie to me (hehehehe) Here are my suggestions: 1. X-pen - I got this one at Walmart and if you do site to store the shipping is free. She should still be contained and this pen you can configure into all sorts of shapes and uses. Doggie Litter Boxes - I put the pee pads inside the boxes, it forces them to step into the box to do potty - not on the edge, etc... (Purina Second Nature is the Brand of the Box that I have) Best of luck! |

I wash ours in a separate load and use regular detergent. I put in a couple of drops of bleach every three washes or so. So far I haven't had any issues with smell, but I rotate them out every day. :) The ones I use are from Nancy - Little Bit (a YTer) and they would be very difficult to tear up! :thumbup: |

I have pee pad shredders, too (11 mo. & 7 mo). Changed to cloth ones. Now no shredding but they still like to drag them around away from the spot they need to be in. I have found a way to pin a ribbon onto the very edge of the pad and around a piece of furniture, etc. No more dragging around. Yes, they do miss the pad once in awhile, but at least they are trying which is a comfort for me. They are learning. :) |
