I feel so very sad for you, sending hugs your way! Wishing your babies a wonderful life. |

I've been updated..... 1 Attachment(s) ....I work with the lady who adopted Candy (the picture above with the two kids). She says that Candy has adapted well to their household which includes 2 other dogs (not yorkies). I think she has told me that they are keeping her name as Candy. I received an email last week from Halle's new mommy; she too is adapting, enjoying her new "brother" Piccalo, and says that potty training is going well thanks to having a brother to learn from. They have re-named her Penelope (to go with Piccalo). she also said that she has pictures to share, but they are not on her computer yet. And then, just yesterday I received an email from Spook's new owner. He was a christmas gift for the daughter of the couple who picked him out. The daughter (pictured below with Spook) says that she loves him and that she couldn't have asked for a better puppy! She re-named him "Billy". We are still working on finding a home for Casper....we've had a few nibbles, but nothing definite. He is a big boy and will definitely be a "teapot" yorkie...but hey, just more yorkie to love. I am very pleased with my first experiance at breeding and look forward to doing it again.:p |

Gorgeous pic of your baby... I am glad they have gone to a good home..:) |

...and then there were NONE 4 Attachment(s) Well, the saga of Lexie's first litter is officially over. Today we said good-bye to the last of her puppies. Casper went to live with an older couple and their adult daughter and will have two other small/medium breed dogs to play with. They live out in the country as they put it, so I guess he'll be a country boy. Here are a few pictures of Casper in his final hours with us....I am happy to say that after thinking that maybe his ears would never come up because he/they are pretty large, that the taping trick seems to be working and if his new family will keep working with them, I am now fairly certain that they will stand. :heart79: To Candy, Casper, Halle (Penelope), and Spook (Billy).... I am so thankful that you were a part of our familiy for just a little while and wish you all a long healthy, happy life! I will miss you and remember you forever! :heart79: |

Lexie's puppies turned 6 months & I got pictures to share.... 4 Attachment(s) .......well of most of them. I sent out an email to their new families requesting 6 month pics & updates on Lexie's puppies. And look what I got.....:D 1. That's Candy, the first born pup. At 6 months she weighs 4.6lbs and is a happy girl in her home with two lab siblings. She lives with someone I work with. 2 & 3. That's puppy #3 and our favorite, Halle; now named Penelope. My how she has changed! These are before & after pics on her first haircut. She lives with another little yorkie sibling named Piccalo. She now weighs about 6 lbs. and is described as loving, yet the dominant one. Sounds like her mama Lexie.:p They tell me they are so glad she came into their lives. 4. This is the last pup born; Spook. He has since been renamed Billy. His new mommy is a college-age girl and he lives with her there; on campus or not, I'm not sure. He's got a yorkie friend that lives down the hall, and when she goes home for the summer, he'll have other fur-friends there too. She speaks VERY highly of him, it sounds like she loves him as much as I love all of mine. He weighs 6.9lbs & has already had his first plane ride when she met her family in Utah for a short family vacation over spring break. WOW. :( The 3rd born pup Casper is living with an older family about an hour or so away from us and I was told they do not own a computer. I will just have to trust that he is a happy country boy and hope that they will send some pictures my way soon. I love how each new family is not pestered by my picture & update requests. They have even mentioned stopping by some day so that we can meet up with Lexie's puppies again. What a happy reunion that will be.! |
