| ![]() Any different and new toys out there for a yorkie's Christmas? I am thinking of wrapping up some older ones. It's just that he doesn't play with the new ones for long, maybe for about a month. He has three favorites that are old chewy toys from three years ago when he was teething ! I was thinking of soaking them in some organic soup to get him to play with them again. There are soo many. I hate to add to the collection. ![]() |

| ![]() Maybe skip the toys and go with beds, blankets, dishes, clothes or a heating disc? We just got a Hide-A-Squirrel two months ago but the only drawback is it's made in China. Ellie's favorite toys are squeaky balls. I found one that is made in the US, so I have gotten her different colors of the same toy. Atleast I know she likes it and it won't go to waste.

| ![]() That's funny about "recycling" old ones. Just last night our Aust. Shepherd, Stormie, tried to steal a toy from inside that "belongs" to Tatum. My hubby took it from her and said, "silly girl.... that's Tatum's". I told him she could go ahead and have it because it's a little big for Tatum (it's a rope thing knotted on both ends). So as he went out to give it to her I said, wait maybe we could just wrap it up for her for Christmas. He said, we could just give it to her now and then take it back and wrap it on Christmas Eve..... what's she gonna know anyway??? They're so silly..... just to watch them unwrap their presents is hilarious. I don't think they even care what it is - they get such a kick out of unwrapping anything!

| ![]() we even use newspapers (the print ink is made from soy we are told) for wrapping, since the dye on wrap is not good and foil is even worse. when they smell the organic chicken soup - the paper is in shreds and sometimes they get protective over their toys! Its a hoot. They have to open them by the tree downstairs for the soup smell gets in the carpet and the place just smells chickeny. ![]() |

| ![]() Hello, I just joined on 12-12-07, so I am new too. Welcome. This place is great. I hope you get a chance to check out the adorable yorkie pics and some of their own pages. I might be getting my TeddE one of his own! Depending on time. I love the description of that toy. My yorkie and bichon would both love to chase around something that lights up. I will be getting my grandpuppie - Gisele soon and that sounds like something she'd love to chase. Have fun. ![]()
