Yay! A happy ending! Martin is such a little cutie pie.
I think you did a wonderful thing. I hope if ever something happened and I got seperated from Addison that a kind soul such as yourself would find her and keep her safe until she could come home. The world needs more people like you!

Awww...you are just like me, I am ALWAYS getting little dogs that I see roaming the streets. It's scary because you never know what they might have, which is why when I do take any home with me, I don't let them around my babies because I just can't take any chances on my little angels getting sick

Plus, you never know how they are going to be around other dogs and because my babies are little, I don't want to risk them possibly getting hurt. I will keep the dogs I do find in the garage with food and water and put a bed out there for them too. Alot of times I will even give them a bath and brush them, which is what I did with the little Maltese I found a few weeks ago (he has since been returned to his owner)

It's just amazing to me how many dogs I actually find roaming around in the streets - and purebred dogs at that, ones that are expensive!

That is wonderful though that you too took in a little Pekingese, and that he was returned to his owner

You sound like me in that you can't ever turn away when you see them sitting outside alone, or roaming the streets alone knowing that they are hungry and thirsty

Those sweet little faces of theirs just get me every time!

That is so funny Jeanne, because I thought the exact same thing when I looked at that picture! He had the Tator eyes happening for sure...LOL

Awww, thank you so much...that is so sweet

I really do try my best to help every animal I find, which lately has been quite a few! At first my hubby would get a little annoyed at me bringing dogs home all the time lol, but now he sees how much I care about them and he is just as willing as I am to help them and keep them safe until they can be returned home to their family

We found a little Maltese a few weeks ago and my hubby even helped me bathe, blow dry, and brush him - I was so proud LOL

I have been gone for a few days, and I had to come on to see what was happening in Yt world. I even wondered what you would be up to now Brooke. Between your precious babies ( I am partial to Stedman ), and all you do for everyone else. it is always a thrill to see your postings. have a wonderful Christmas

I actually don't know...one thing that kinda bothered me is that she didn't seem all that thrilled to see him

I mean she was VERY friendly to ME...but I gave Martin to her that she just held him, didn't give him kisses or pet him or say that she was happy to see him or that she had been looking for him or anything

All she said was that he had gotten out of the fence AGAIN, and that was it

If someone were returning one of my babies, I would be giving my baby kisses like crazy, and I would say how happy I was to see them and that I had been looking everywhere for them. Heck, knowing me I'd probably start crying!

I don't know what to think...I mean, she seemed like a very sweet lady, maybe I am just too crazy obsessed with my babies and I guess I would expect people to be totally freaked out if they lost one of their babies like I would be, but I guess everyone isn't like that

Awww I know, I have always thought the exact same thing! I would hope that if one of my babies ever went missing (although I don't know how that would ever happen because I watch them like a HAWK!) that someone would take care of them until they could be returned home to me

I just loved that little guy!! I certianly had so much fun with him and will miss him lots

I called my hubby and told him that Martin went back home, and even he was a little sad...especially since he didn't get to say goodbye to him
