Petsmart santa was a riot!
 
We took the girls to Petsmart today to have their picture taken with Santa and nearly had heart failure. Santa was a short, VERY skinny young girl who couldn't even keep the beard on so she just let it hang on her neck exposing her entire face. We left VERY quickly and went to the mall where the Santa there was much nicer looking. I had to scan the picture, so the quality is terrible because our scanner is old and also needs a ribbon. :(
We put them in the pet stroller and they were a big hit. Couldn't get more than 10 feet before someone went nuts over them. Since we already have Christmas shopping done, we just kind of browsed around and glad we did. I met a gal who has her products set up in the hall way at the mall and she makes home made treats. We bought two different types. Then a lady who was selling tupperware gave me a little midget for free because I wanted a set and she had just sold the last one. Very sweet of her. Then I got some gold earrings and See's candy and we left for home. It was a fun time. :p

LOL @ the PetSmart Santa! We haven't gotten a chance to stop by our Petsmart for pictures yet...I wonder if we'll have a female Santa too :rolleyes:

I went to Petsmart too!! The santa there was a skinny one!! The picture was so bad too They had a 10 years old kid holding the camera and took pic.....I could also see red eyes too in the pic...just wasnt a happy experience....I am definitely Chloe to the mall and take another pic again...

Beautiful babies! good thing you hit to the mall for a better looking Santa, your babies are too precious and with a good looking santa just completes the package, Nice picture. ;)

They are absolutely adorable!! I can see why everyone was admiring them. I'm glad you had fun shopping with your babies. I don't know what to say about the skinny girl Santa though. That's just strange!! :)

If we had not found another Santa it would not have been very funny, but since we did find a good one, we can now laugh at what the first one looked like. ;)
A BUDGET Santa Clause...........hahahahah that IS funny!!!!

Your girls are adorable. Our Petsmart Santa last year was a young kid that didnt even look right as a santa. We didnt take them back this year. There pictures are awful also

I have to say I never saw a girl santa. They should have atleast made her Mrs. Santa. Sounds like you had a great time.

Your girls are Gorgeous!!! I'm so glad they got to sit with a "real" :) Santa!!! I would have left too if Santa was a young girl. LOL. I wanted to take mine to Petsmart for Santa pics, but I had visions of one of them eating Santa's beard and running off with it :D :D

Donna, it sounds like you had quite an experience. It's hard to believe that PetSmart doesn't care any more for their public image than to hire an unsatisfactory Santa. It's relaly sad, 'cause so many young children go there with their parents. What a disappointment it must be to them.

I am so glad that you were able to find the "real" jolly ole Santa and got some good pics. Azreal and Zada, as always are knock out beautiful. Sounds like you had a very pleasant outing.

OH wow - What's the world coming too - Girl Santas ? Maybe The REAL Santa had a bit too much eggnog the night before ? :p How Cheap of Petsmart and how misleading for all the little dogs and kids haha -

There's just something so 'WRONG' about a girl Santa -

but that's a GREAT PICTURE ~! Very very cute :thumbup:

I guess they figure dogs don't know the difference? But isn't the point to get a good Christmas pic? You can't do that with a skinny girl Santa! :yelrotflm I thought about going to petsmart for my dog because the Santa my daughter saw wouldn't let her hold her new puppy while she was sitting on his lap and I wanted a picture of both of them together with Santa. Oh well. Some of you guys said they let you take your dogs into the mall? Mabe I will try that.:confused:

eh, shouldn't really make too much of a difference what gender Santa is..it's all the same to the dogs!

That's true, but when it comes to wanting a "good" picture of your pups with Santa to have next years Christmas cards made up, then you don't want the Santa to have a long very thin face with a beard on the neck. ;)

It's not the dogs who are paying to get the photo done and they aren't the ones who'll be looking at it -

I still think Petsmart was being really chinzy making that kind of substitution... People pay good money for these kinds of pictures...not to mention the anticipation of a cute photo - the time to get their dogs dressed up - the trip and - let's not forget all the coaxing (the pets - not the santa) Well, maybe the santa too !!

What you dealt with kind of makes those Petsmart 'Take a Picture with Santa' Commercials a joke doesn't it :p :p ...

it makes a good story to pass on to the Grandpups though LOL
