OUch! that is one heck of a lot of dogs and good reason to be darn careful of whom you dealing wiht, a broker is not a good idea.

Towards the bottom of the page it says the partner of this breeder in Brazil is West Coast Yorkies. These people are in North Van, my area or about an hour from me anyway, that had the ad on Kijiji yesterday marketing their Brazillian authentic t cup teddy bear yorkies for $2000 as live teddy bears for childrens Christmas presents. I and many others, reported the ad to Kijiji and it is gone.
Usually they list their YOrkie pups for $2800 - $3200 saying they are the only Authentic Tcup Yorkies and are from Brazil. They sell Chows for about $3000, Min Bull terriers usually about $2800 now have Chi's and CC's as well. This is their site www.westcoastyorkies.com.
All these dogs are from Brazil that they sell. I don't think anyone here locally has bought from them, they get shipped from here elsewhere.
What a scam!.

I'm from Vancouver and I go on kijiji (to see if I can find my Tobi a little brother or sister) and I see the "West Coast Yorkie" ads all the time! I thought their prices were super high! I remember seeing a $4,000 "teddy bear yorkie" for sale from them from Brazil....:thumbdown

An Applehead and/or deer Chihuahua is the same idea as a teacup Yorkie if you get my drift, selling point that is not reputable. There is no description in the breed standard of deer chi or applehead chi.

That site makes me sick. I really hope they don't have 5200 babies :( My heart aches enough for the few I saw tthe page. And they claim every single one is "rare" rather it's the color, breed, or whatever. And the fact that their saying "Under 1lb!" as a headline for some pups, ugh it makes me sick to my stomach :thumbdown

that's horrible and should be against the law...it's no wonder so many people are being scammed and sold sick puppies. I feel SO bad for this breed ...it seems everyone is seeing $$ signs and getting into the 'puppy selling' business.:thumbdown

i think i have seen some of their ads and it is very sad...no one and i mean NO ONE could possibly take care of that many puppies!!!! :(

Bang on, puppy selling business is right, like bars of soap off a shelf with whatever selling ploys they need to get the most bucks out of these poor dogs.
I wish these people would just go get a job and work themselves instead of exploiting dogs and scamming people.

Rather digusting isn't it? If you scroll down a bit on that page, she welcomes resellers, ie brokers and will give them a deal if they buy up 4 or puppies at a time. This woman is unbelievable.
West Coast lists their Yorkies or did on Kijiji for anywhere from $2800 to $3200. Kind of wonder what they paid this woman for the ones shipped from Brazil, likely quite young an age, and then shipped from here to who knows where?
