I went to view the ad you posted and it said it couldn't be found. Must have been removed? That is so awful anyway. Those people should be locked up never set free!

Puppyluuv, are you for or against this breeder, you seem to contradict yourself in several post. Maybe I am reading wrong and forgive me if I am. If you feel this Breeder has that many dogs, and complaints, then simply call the sheriffs office in her county and they will file and investigate. Its as simple as that. When someone suspects child abuse and calls child protective services, they have to investigate and you will have a legal document for proof. Its like that with domestic violence, word of mouth! unless you file and get it documented. The more you document something the better chances you have of any action.

I think this is our answer folks! Clearly this puppyluuv has absolutely no clue as to how a mill is run. First off, these dogs don't GET to run around so why provide land? They are kept, ALWAYS kept in cages stacked on top of each other. I also read in another of your posts something to the effect of "as long as they are not mistreated". Um, they ARE mistreated. There is no love, affection, usually they are abused and as I mentioned, CAGED. Some can't even walk because they've been pent up so long they can't stretch out their legs.
Does anyone have a link to that video of the mill that was recently shut down and the hair on the dogs was so matted they couldn't stretch out their legs so they atrophied that way? This is where pet stores get their puppies. And sadly that is the truth about puppy mills.

You need to update your info. In WV we just had a mill busted with 1500 small breed dogs all living in chicken or rabbit runs. It was called Whispering Pines.

There was a huge mill {still is I think} in Texas that would ship puppies all over many sick even dying. It was featureed here and on the News. called Buckys?

How can they post all over and sunader and still have business it's called People wear rose colored glasses. They don't want to believe poor Mamma to they're petstore puppy lives in a two by two cage. being bred all heats. Even to point they know but believe they're rescusing that poor puppy from a horrible cage not knowing or even caring that Momma is now going to be bred again thu she's blind and 9 years old. They made money it's now supply and demand.

This Mill is not in the States, they get puppies shipped to them by the tons and they sell by the Net only,possibly not even allowing local people to come pick up they're pup. Most likely will meet them to deliver. How caring. Many countries like Mexico don't have animal laws. or very lax ones. So it's possible to have a huge barn stacked to the top with cages of small dogs, and have they're family plus others to tend them.

Im totally for breeders ~ but ones that definatley get their facts straight. No one has yet shown anything about these people having 5000 dogs caged up. I looked at this westcoast yorkies site and their pups dont look mistreated, sick or deathly. Maybe I don't know how a puppy mill operates but after reading that dogs dont get to run around and are caged up ~ they get no love and can't walk because they are caged ~ I'm sorry but I feel those dogs are more of need for a home when its put that way then. Im not knockin what breeders do ~ to each their own. but for myself when I'm looking for a yorkie and see that a breeder operates a mill and has 5000 dogs and is still operating why hasn't anyone in the 2 years reported these people. Where is the love there for these animals? Should I just go by what 1 person thinks? I'm trying to see both sides here and Manolos Mom ~ you say for me to call the sheriff ~ why havent you? Why havent any of you who have known this for two years not done anything about it...honestly? Just curious...

There was recently a puppymill busted in Mount Vernon, Wa with over 500 dogs at one home and hundreds more at their partners home, all of the cages were stacked so closely that you would be surprised how little space they actually took up. Many of the dogs were debarked by shoving a metal rod down there throat and probably didn't make all that much noise after that. It is amazing what people can get away with, yes, 5200 is alot of dogs. But if you can keep 500 in a residential area I am sure that in other countries you could get away with much more.

There is so much wrong with her site btw any breeder/ or broker who's primary goal is to import tiny dogs and sell them for thousands of dollars is a huge red flag. Yes I am sure there are people out there that will spend it but isn't the whole point of a forum like this to educate and help make responsible decisions when buying and caring for your pet. We are all here because we love the breed and love our dogs. It is very sad to see things like this happening weather she has 500 or 5200 it is still unethical. And anyone buying from a broker or pet store is supporting the suffering of dogs, which imo is wrong and that is why it is so important to educate people.

This is the first I have heard of this Breeder...Today. I have one in my area that is even more notorious than this one. And yes the Sheriff has been called and its all on record. This is what you need to do. I dont go out searching for bad breeders unless one pops up and then I listen to both sides before making my call. Good Luck to you and Welcome to YT. You're absolutely correct. The key word is allegedly. Believe nothing of what you read and only half of what you hear. Websites can put up the greatest photos and printed text can be fabricated. Unless you visit a site and have first hand information, then and only then can you judge a breeder and their breeding practices.

does anyone have that link for the puppy mill that was busted? It had the yorkies that were severly matted and the toe nails were curling. Watching that is certainly an eye opener. I remember watching it on here but not sure what it was called now. would be a great think to post in this thread!
