What would you name your new "girl"? Good Morning... If you were getting a new :aimeeyork. What would you name her? Joyce |
Well I have 3 girls now...Diva, Foxxy and Diva's pup Duchess. For Diva's puppy, I had also liked the names Melody, Mocha, Pebbles, Lyric, Jazz or Jazzy, Buttercup, Beauty, CoCo, Diamond...the list could go on and on.:D Naming is the fun part..you just have to see the puppy and interact with them and sometimes, the name will just come. |
My husband is insisting the next one be called Dixie so we would have a Pxie and Dixie. I know we can't talk him out of it and sice we need his buy in to get another we will probably end up with a Dixie. |
If we got a new girl furbaby, we would name her Ivy. :) Names are fun....we didn't get too creative with Bella~;) |
Well, my boy is Vinnie so it would have to go with that, something Italian, maybe a little mobby, haha. Sophia has always been a favorite of mine....I don't know, since I want a girl so bad I should really put some thought into this!!! :) |
I wanted to name my new girl "Ivy" but my family didnt like it. She ended up being Chloe. |
Well if I were to get another yorkie I would name her Sadie but my uncle is getting a maltese in a couple of weeks and I told him that is what we should name her. |
I notice you have 2 babies now named Barney and Bennie. If I were you, I would name my new little girl "BUBBLES." But, as you can see from my siggie, I like unusual, funny names. |
Scarlett! |
well i am contemplating keeping one of Bella's pups, the little girl which is the runt....she is TOO CUTE! but i either want to name her Malibu or Maui....im leaning more towards Maui |
When naming my dogs it's kinda funny. All of them with the exception of 2 have the ending in ie sound. I try and name them like that LOL...and what's funny is the two that doesn't have that sound ending in ie have the er sound... I have as follows: Murphy (I didn't name him), Brookie, Krissy, Harvey, Cammie and then the two puppies Molly and Dolly and then there is Tucker and Radar (I didn't name him). I will have a Nikki or Nicky with my next show dog. So I have to find names with the ending sounding like ie... LOL It's getting more difficult with registered names and the call names matching LOL Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
i LOVE emma and gracie for girls (was vetoed by my BF :( lol) so we have sophia, noelle and ella in the back of our minds for our future girl! :D |

I know the feeling..... |
I have a Chizzie, Chattie, Scarlett, and a Dovie I usually let the kids name themselves.....after a while, a name comes to my mind and just sticks I am thinking about some old traditional southern names like Eurlene, Beatrice, Idella, Florine, and Beullah, EllieMae, |
Since Lucy's name is Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, I think my next little girl will be named Penny Lane. I'm not a Beatles fan, but I like for their names to have some connection. Oh, I also like names that end in the ie sound. Two of my six dogs names do not end in this sound but I just add it anyway. Their names are Hooch and Max and I call them Hoochie and Maxie. They seem to like it. |
We aren't yorkies owners yet, but i already have a list of names... i have to meet her first in order to figure out which name suites her best. #1 choice: Piper #2 Paisley #3 Page #4 Ginger Does anyone have names that would have something to do with Valentines Day, besides Valentine?? |
A Rose by any other name.... Congrats on getting a new baby!! We like names that aren't people names. Kissy, Angel and Princess are my girls. They all fit their personalities. I am sure you will come up with a precious name just for her!! We also like Precious, Sugar or Pumpkin. :D |
Does anyone have names that would have something to do with Valentines Day, besides Valentine??[/quote] How about Juliet, after Romeo and Juliet, a very romantic story? Not exactly a Valentine name, but a romantic one! Also, maybe Cupid? |

as for valintines names...maybe something like Heart of Gold, Cupid, Pinky, Treasured Love, Tender Heart...? |
Well, now I am thinking of a lot of Valentine names: Rose, Love, Baci (Italian for "kisses), Adara (Greek goddess of beauty), Honey, Aimee (French for beloved), or Cara (Italian for beloved). |
names 2 Attachment(s) My mom had a Mitzi and a Gidget and a Candi over the years. I had wanted a dog for so long who was going to be my "Buddy" so even though I requested a female I was determined to call my girl, Buddy, much to the dismay of everyone I told. When it came closer to the day that I was to fly and get my 'girl Buddy' the breeder said she was kinda small and was concerned for her health on the plane but said she still had the boy (which was who I originally picked out before I knew their sex) was still available and was a little bigger and thought he would handle the flight better. So.... I said pack him up he's mine. When Buddy and I are cuddling I always tell him the story of how Mommy almost missed out on getting him. It was meant to be.. The picture is the day I picked him up at the Airport and this summer on vacation (we even look alike!) Buddy is a Yorkie/Lhasa mix. |
I have always loved Gracie Layla Cricket (sorry its a southern thing) Then there are the old lady names I love Gertie Isabelle izzy or belle izzaboo Adeline Laurel Waverly These are a few of my favs:D |
Candy Since my male is Snickers and my female is Almond Joy, the female puppy we are keeping is going to be called "Tootsie Pop" in keeping with the candy theme. :) |

I just named my new girl Tia Sophia. Other names we thought of along the way- Suki Yummy Livvie Bindi Jasmine-jazzy minnie bianca |
I always liked Brooksey-A friend grandmother name! Since I never had kids- only pets-LOL- I'd like to name a little girl that! |
Depending on her personality I would probably name her either, Mercedes "Mercy" or Brittney "BritBrit" or Jade. |
