Favorite Dog Purse?
 
Do you have a purse that your yorkie fits in that you love? What sould I look for in a bag? And where did you get yours from? Georgie is 7lbs so I'd like him to be able to fit in it as well.

I have the Sienna Metro by Petote that is my favorite carrier. It is so pretty and looks like a big purse. No one knows a dog is in there. It is also very comfortable on my shoulder. I have a Juicy Carrier too that I like but it's not very good for sneaking in and isn't quite as comfortable as the Petote carrier. I do have a Petflys carrier as well but it isn't good for just carrying around like the others. My most favorite thing is my stroller :)

I got this one awhile back, and I like it for when I have Flossy and Lewis together. The bag is big enough for the both of them. I put a blanket inside and it seems to work fine for when I need a dressy bag. The bag is more or less for spring/summer :D

I have another one I got at Petco that is small and looks like a purse. The bag is great for just one, and is the perfect small size. Sorry I don't have a picture of that one. The bag is brown leather looking with pockets on the outside to carry keys etc. :D

I actually got a REALLY good deal on it from someone who bought it, never used it, and just had it sitting in their closet for a couple months. They decided to sell it for a good price so I snatched it up.

I have the Kwigy Bo "Charlie" bag I got from Tinkerbell's closet at a nice discount and then I have the Ralph Taos Carrier that I absolutely love but would have never bought for myself -my husband surprised me with it and he has great taste. Now if I can just get Lucy to stay in it :)

This is Dior's only carrier. Its a Juicy Couture that I got for her xmas last year, and she has only been in it a few times. We got Diezel the following Feb. ( he hates carriers, so we stopped taking them out much). Its sitting in my house hoping 1 day to use it again:)

I got mine off Ebay and it was very reasonable. It had air vents, but you really had to look hard to see that there was a pup in there.

I dont know if u were talking about my bag, but i got it from Nordstrom last yr. Juicy have made quite a few new styles since.

Dior is 6.5. I got the bag when she was 4lbs, and still fits with room. The Juicy tote holds up to 8lbs.

I am sure this sounds stupid...But first off, I stink at math...lol....I wish they would make the bags and say Ok this will hold a 4 lb or a 7 lb comfortably...Instead of just giving measurements...lol

I love the Chromebones...But was not sure what size it will hold.....

Bennie loves a bag....Barney- forget it...lol....

So thanks for posting your size babies....I am making note so it will help me to compare....

lol...Hubby said to just find a bag and post it and ask what you guys think will fit....I guess I should have listened to him....:eek:

Yea. I love this style. I wanted it in a darker color, but they were sold out and I had to have a Juicy bag at the time.:rolleyes:

nathan is 4 lbs and out of all the bags we have which have all come from petsmart during the off season ( so i get them for 60-75% off) he likes the Coach bag!!! that's a surprise isn't it!!! He will lay in that one with no problem!!

Jesse is 8 pounds right now, and I think he may go to 9 as he becomes more healthy. Do you think any carriers would hold him?

There are carriers that would hold him. He may just get heavy on your shoulder quickly. Lacy is 7.5lbs and starts to get heavy soon. That's why I love my stroller :)

The great thing about a carrier is that you can use it to sneak the dog into stores. Yes, I'm evil. ;)

I don't think I would use one often, and Jesse generally loves walking, but it would be a nice option when shopping for if I needed to hide him or if I just needed him confined while trying things on or paying.

New York Dog makes some larger carriers. I have one that will hold Loki who is 14" long, 12 pounds. I just can't carry him very far :)

I know we are talking about fur kid bags, but mom's need theirs too. I purchased a hand bag from collectiblestoday.com. They have most all breeds but of course a yorkie for this mom. They are nice sized with leather trim. The photo on the bag looks just like my Samantha.:animal-pa
