If it is the Continental Kennel Club then no you can not register them AKC. If it is the Canadian Kennel Club then you can transfer them to AKC |
Yes, its Continental Kennel Club. Are they well known? Have a good Rep? So there is no way I get get it Registered with AKC too? |

No, you can't register with AKC. You can only register a dog with the AKC if both parents are AKC registered, or if the parents are registered to another country's registry that the AKC approves. The registry a dog is under doesn't necessarily show the quality of the dog though. They are only there to register the dog. There are a lot of out of standard yorkies that are AKC registered. That's why it is more important to look at the breeder and dogs they are breeding. |

But it doesn't really matter as long as they are just pets. I know you love them, and thats all that matters. How about some new pictures? ;) :D |

"No, honestly the Continental Kennel Club does not have a good reputation. They are well known, but more among back-yard breeders, puppymills, and other less than perfect situations, than quality breeders. AKC has very strict guidelines to maintain quality, and CKC does not, and that is why they cannot be registered with AKC." From Anna.... Thanks Anthony |
