| ![]() Last week I hurt my back and have been using a heating pad since. I noticed that Marcus just loves to cuddle with me when I am laying down on it. When I get up he jumps at the opportunity to stretch out and nap on it (low heat of course). Is it safe to let him nap on the heating pad (with supervision and low heat)? Thanks for the help! ![]()

| ![]() I use a heating pad everyday for an hr, I have to for my bones, I have it on low, but i have never let the furkids on it, So Iam not sure, It does not get very hot on low, i wouldnt think it would hurt if you watched and only use it every so often.mine is the moist heat one that gets wet.

| ![]() I think its ok to use that with supervision of course. However, they do have non electrical heating pads... the ones you just put in the microwave and they stay warm all night. There's a YT'r that makes/sells them for about $25 or so... Cant think of the name though ![]()

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() A heating pad on low is fine for dogs. Just be careful they cannot chew on the cord. They actually make dog heating pads that are water proof. I used a special welping heating pad for all my new born puppies to make sure they stayed warm.

| ![]() I have a kwater proof heating pad on low for Snoodles at night! I put a fleece throw doubled over it and it keeps her warm. I told the vet I was doing that and he was fine with it. Pat |
